Hey there, guys! I've been here since the first day of 2015, but haven't posted anything. I know I've been suffering from lack of time (exams, exams and exams), but I just couldn't take it anymore. I became a huge Leorai shipper (it surprised me too, but I can't help it), and I decided I had to do something about it. So... Leorai in half-finished works!
These really short pieces help me improve my English which is a real fun. The mistakes are all on me, but I'm about to find a beta. I don't know when the next update will be, but I'm planning to write more and more.
All the drabbles take place in the 2k12 cartoon. Karai is still human in this one. It's possible that there will be hints of romance later on.
I gave it a T, because I'm not afraid to put my characters in dangerous and painful situations.

1. Easy to fool
"I'm, sorry, but I'm afraid I can't allow your cry for help," Karai says lustfully, bittersweet sarcasm on the tip of her tongue. Playing with her tanto blade like it is a beautiful and harmless tool, she kicks the broken T-Phone away with her foot. A small evil smile appears on the edge of her mouth while she takes a glance at his captive, being embraced by her loyal robotic soldiers. "Don't be a fool, Leo. You really thought I wouldn't notice your phone?"
He holds her piercing glance firmly and proudly, and even dares to taunt her actions with that mordant and suspicious grin he hardly shows. Only when he knows his victory for sure. Karai's smile vanishes in an instant, replaced by a deep frown. She just doesn't understand. She thought she had been able to figure him out, but the young leader never ceases to surprise her with deeds Karai hasn't gotten used to. He's stupid; that's the only thing she knows for certain. Her father's brand new combat-ready bots are way faster and stronger than their former prototypes, and the proof is right before her very eyes. A bruised and battered turtle with bloodstained skin and weak body. He can hardly stand on his own! He's lost; why would his eyes tell otherwise?
He must've noticed the sudden emotion change in her, because with wincing facial expression, he lets out a soft chuckle. Karai's already deep frown continues to deepen.
"You may have come up with surprises, but you're too easy to fool," he warns, voice hoarse yet scornful. Her inner alarm suddenly sets off. Something's not right. She swears she heard something coming from outside.
"You're beaten, Leo. Don't think there is any escape from here."
He chuckles again. "My phone," he nods his head toward the broken pieces, "when it gets damaged, sends a distress signal to my brother's computer. I'm sure they're close by…"
Every drop of satisfaction dries off, her limbs goes numb. Her face becomes pale in a second and her heart leaps in her chest. Of course, this seems pretty obvious. How could she miss it? She always pays attention to everything, never misses a single sign. It can't be him, right? He couldn't just distract her with those facial expressions…right?
Wrong. A door behind her back bursts open and her great plan shatters.
