Still A Possibilty…

xD I thought I should focus on Pinako's point of video (kinda) since in FMA she doesn't get much attention.

This is Pinako's and Winry's point of view AFTER the movie "Conqueror of Shamballa." There's a slight edxwinry I guess.

"Ring!Ring!"

A very sleepy and annoyed Winry opened her eyes and yawned rather loudly. She stretched and rubbed her eyes.

She got out of her bed and had to resist the urge to throw her annoying alarm clock out the window to make it stop ringing.

Winry's alarm clock was set the 5:00 A.M.

5:00 in the MORNING. This was probably about 4 hours earlier than the time she usually woke up.

Pinako was already up, working on someone's order in their workplace. She heard Winry coming down the stairs and sighed.

Well, business for the Rockbells was booming, and she had to start preparing much more automail for their customers.

And exactly why were they so popular? Well, when word spread across the entire country of Amestris that Winry was the auto-mechanic of the great "hero" of the attack on Central (ahem Ed), many civilians wanted only her automail.

Now, Pinako could see that Winry was overwhelmed at all of the attention she was receiving, but she was still putting a lot of time and devotion to her work like she had in the past. However, after Ed left with Al to Germany or who knows where, she noticed Winry had changed. A lot.

For example, Winry was much calmer than she usually was and was pretty quiet. In the past, she had a huge temper; she would even throw wrenches at Ed's head just because he made an unexpected visit!

Pinako chuckled. "Ah, Winry, Ed and Al had so many memories with each other…Winry's so lonely without those two kids…"

Speaking of lonely, during her breaks, she sometimes saw Winry clutching a picture of Ed to her chest, while looking out the window with a faraway look. For some reason, this had seemed familiar to her…

Whenever she saw Winry like this, she knew that Winry was still suffering from 2 of the most important people in her life. Also, she knew that Ed and Winry had a relationship more than "just friends" and that she would miss him dearly.

Pinako stopped working on the automail and went to find Winry.

She found her outside, on the porch with Den, her eyes slighting moist and puffy.

"Winry…are you're thinking about Ed and Al again?" she said. "Well, more specifically, Ed…." She added in.

Winry looked up to her grandmother. She wiped some tears from her eyes and said, "Those 2 always get into these messes all the time don't they…"

Pinako laughed. "Especially that midget….he causes such a commotion whenever anyone makes the slightest comment about his height!"

Winry rubbed Den playfully. "Yeah…that stupid little shrimp…" she said with a weak smile on her face.

Pinako took out her pipe and took a puff out of it.

After a long period of silence, Pinako said "You know…Ed and Al may never return…"

Winry hesitated. She smiled and said "They always find a solution to all of their crazy messes they get into…"

She paused. She looked into the sky as dawn came upon them. She breathed in deeply. "Ed…where are you?" she thought.

A look of hope appeared on her face. "Well…I think there's still a possibility that they'll come back."

Pinako smiled at her granddaughter's words. "Still a possibility, eh?" Again, Winry reminded her of someone…

A realization hit her, wasn't that was Trisha said to her when Hohenheim had left?

She looked at Winry and thought, "Edward you brat…look at what you're doing to my poor granddaughter…you're turning into that father of yours you know!"

As she watched Winry playing with Den, she thought "You better bring you and your brother back soon!"
