If it was a mere Sticky ball, they why doesnt the prince get stuck as he rolls it along?

And why can't you roll up cows with a 3cm katamari? Why must yuo roll up all these other things first? I want to roll up a cow NOW darnit ;-;

the Katamari uses GRAVITY!!! -loud gasps from the audience-
Gravity exists between all objects of mass, pulling them together. More mass more gravitational force;
I propose that therefore the Katamari either somehow magnifies gravity, or is an object of extremly high mass liek a BLACK HOLE!!!!
...except not...cause black holes can suck in light and stuff...and are out in the middle of space...and such...yeah...-shifty eyes-
Well anyways, I decided to interveiw the powers that be about such.
Prince: How does it work?
