Taking off just as fast Hiei avoids part of the arena and catches up with Kurama and together they escape the collapsing battle arena when a thought comes to Hiei.
"Where is Yusuke and the others" Hiei asks with narrowed eyes "I can only assume they have already fled here and are already too a safe spot."
Grunting in answer Hiei speeds up scouting ahead for any hidden dangers finding none Hiei stops under a cluster of trees to wait for Kurama too show up.
"Kurama how long do you think it will take them to notice we aren't with them" "An hour at the most" Kurama answers swiftly using his quick thinking abilities and intelligence.
"Good" Hiei murmurs moving towards Kurama swiftly throwing a possesive arm about his waist and bringing him closer too his body holding Kurama closely.
10 minutes later a crunch sounds from behind them turning around never releasing each other they face a shocked Yusuke with his eyes wide and mouth dropped open.
"Well Kurama it seems you were off 50 minutes of time" Hiei chuckles darkly causing Kurama to redden in mild embarrassment "Hiei" and Yusuke loses consciousness.
