A short poem that I was playing around with for an RPG. Not that good, I know, but I felt like posting something Akkigure and this is the only thing I have available at the moment...stanzas are separated by horizontal lines--they are NOT separate poems. And yes, this is from Shigure's POV on Akito...(hearts).

Darkness does you justice
You are shrouded in the night.
Pain is your sweet plaything
Such cruelty your brightest light.
Liberty holds you chained
Caught in its finest links.
See bright promises of future
A fountain no one drinks.
Crushing jealousy enslave
Encompassing cruel emptiness.
Collared beasts held captive
Broken but unbreakable this.
Worship replace lost friendship
Agnosticism true belief.
Such regret eternally
Your best release; my worst relief.
Pay for my transgression
Your body taking every blow.
Trust but a shattered word
My betrayal in your own.
Death comes quickly dear
Blood splattered across walls.
Hearts struck by your knife
Bleed too freely at your call.
Hatred binds our love
My heart to yours, yours to mine.
My goddess my darkness
Your arrogance is mine.
