It was one of those nights, Maureen Johnson couldn't sleep and she wasn't exactly thrilled about it. She didn't want to exactly move because the mocha beauty lawyer was asleep on her shoulder.

Her green eyes shifted over to Joanne whom was lying just right so the light of the moon reflected off of her. In that moment, the drama queen took notice of something she had never once noticed in the year plus she had been with Joanne, how peaceful and content she looked while she slept.

The diva looked over Joanne, one leg draped over her own, arm laying motionless across her toned stomach and headed placed perfectly on her shoulder. A small smile crossed her beautiful complexion, tracing the pads of her fingers up the mocha toned skin, her lips pressing lightly against the lawyer's forehead as her mind went off on all they had been through, the break ups, the fights. She realized there was something that always kept her coming back and at that particular moment, it hit her and hard.

I'm in love. Her mind seemed to flutter, butterflies flying loose in her stomach. She couldn't take her eyes off of the mocha beauty, her fingers now gently tracing the soft skin on her cheek and neck, attempting to not wake the lawyer but of course, all failed when she saw the dark brown orbs opening, sleep still gazing over them.

"What?" Joanne mumbled, looking at the diva, slightly confused as to why she was awaken. The lawyer was not a heavy sleeper so anything woke her.

"Nothing pookie, sorry I woke you." Maureen whispered, pressing a small kiss to her lips.

"It's okay." She said quietly, looking over the drama queen at the clock. "You still awake?" She questioned, biting her lip.

Giving a small sigh, she nodded, pulling Joanne closer. "Yeah, I am." She replied, "Go back to sleep. You have work in the morning." She reminded her, hearing a groan escape her girlfriend's lips.

"Night, honeybear." Joanne whispered, sleep already clouding her voice and pulling her under.

"Night, my love." The diva whispered, "I love you so much, more than anything." She added, knowing Joanne was probably in dreamland to even here but she didn't care seeing as how she now realized that Joanne was the one she wanted and the one she loved and with that thought, she slowly fell asleep next to her girlfriend.
