Title: I Wont Give Up
Summary: Based off prompt from Subinagleelover- After Rachel goes to New York, she finds out he's not really going to the Army. She gets angry when he comes for a visit and she confronts him. AU

Rachel was just settling into New York in her apartment at NYADA when she recieved startling news. She mentioned Finn while talking to Kurt and learned that Finn wasnt home nor was he at boot camp for the army. In fact, he wasnt going to the army at all.
"What do you mean not going?" Rachel asked Kurt confused. Kurt mentally cursed, stupidly he let it slip.
"Uh, Blaine's here now. Got to go, bye Rachel." He hung up abruptly.
'What was that all about?' Rachel thought. 'Finn wasnt going to the army? Then where was he?' Rachel picked up her phone to call him.
"Whats up Rachel?"
"Where the heck are you? Kurt tells me you didnt go to the army? You lied to me?" Rachel said annoyed. Rachel knew he techinally 'freed me' but she kept her engagment ring on.
"Just open your door and your answers will be there." Finn chuckled.
"This is not funny Finn Hudson. I'm not opening my door like some chilidish prank." Rachel said stubbornly.
"You wont regret it." He chuckled again. Rachel sighed but walked to her door. Finn was standing there with a boquet of gold roses.
"What the-" Rachel hung up her phone.
"I couldnt stay away." He smiled walking in.
"You told me you inlisted."
"I lied. I wanted you to go to New York without me to get a college experience and follow your dreams." Finn admitted.
"You lied to me?" Rachel asked.
"Im sorry, I cant stay in New York. I got a scholarship to Ohio State but I want you to bw the biggest star you can be."
"You pretended to join the army just so I could be happy and follow my dreams?" Rachel asked softly and Finn nodded.
"That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done. I love you." Rachel grabbed Finn and pulled him in for a kiss. She was suddenly very happy she didnt have a roomate yet.
