"Are you serious? Do you have to keep an eye on me even while I'm doing my homework?" Elena was staring at Stefan with her cynical look.

"I'm just doing what Klaus told me to do. I'm just following orders."

"Are you sure you're just following orders? I mean, I'm in my kitchen, Stefan. I think I'm pretty safe in here right now. The only ripper around here is you." Having Stefan as her "bodyguard" was driving her crazy.

"First of all, do I have to remember you about the Katherine incident? OK. And, well, I'd feel insulted for that whole ripper part but I don't really care so..."

"Apparently you agree with that, so, why don't you protect me from yourself and get out of here?"

"Hey! There's no need to be rude. God, you're a terrible hostess."

"You know what? I can't. I just can't. I'm going upstairs." Elena grabbed her things and walked to her bedroom and slammed the door shut behind her.

She stopped abruptly when she saw Stefan standing by her window.

"Did you really think that slamming the door would keep me away?" Said Stefan with a slight smile on his face.

"No. I just thought you would have the good sense of not disturbing me when I'm in my own bedroom. Now, please, leave." You could see the frustration on Elena's eyes.

"Nope." Stefan was playing a game. Elena came closer to Stefan, looking in his eyes, trying to look threatening.

"Stefan, I'm serious. Go away!" Elena practically screamed, with tension in her voice.

"No, can't do that." Stefan came closer.

"I know what? Just…" Stefan's lips abruptly interrupted her. And suddenly she wasn't able to think rationally.

Even with all the rage, Elena couldn't resist. She violently kissed him back.

Stefan ran his fingers through her hair, and Elena felt herself walking backwards, until they tumbled onto her bed.
