There was just one moment when Dean knew he loved Castiel, or at least had feelings for him.
It didn't even start out as that special a moment. He and Castiel were just driving in the Impala, listening to ACDC. Castiel had his head tilted in that annoying adorable puppy dog way as he tried to figure out the words to the songs.
"They seem to be screaming about a man made of iron." he said finally sitting back. Dean rolled his eyes, a little smile coming to his lips. "Dean, why are they screaming about a man made of iron," Castiel asked curiously.
"I dunno, Cas." he said.
Castiel looked out the window picking with the edge of his filthy trench coat. Dean looked at him and smiled again.
"Why are you looking at me like that," he asked suddenly. Dean looked back on the road.
"Like what," He said.
"Like you look at Sam…but different." Castiel tilted his head again.
"No reason. Don't worry about it."
"It seems that you are giving me the look that says you want to have sexual relations with me." Castiel said seriously and Dean choked on air jerking at the steering wheel.
"Like I want to WHAT?"
"Like on the show with the pizza man and the babysitter-"
"Cas I told you to stop watching porn." Dean interrupted but Castiel continued on.
"-he gave her a look. Much like the look you give me now." he glanced at Dean. "Well…not now. Now it is a look of embarrassment."
"Shut up." Dean snapped staring at the road.
Castiel stayed silent and Dean felt guilty. He pulled up to a stop sign and turned the music down. "Cas, look, I'm sorry." He said and turned to look at Castiel when suddenly he felt warm, soft lips pressing against his. Dean froze.
Cas was kissing him.
Cas was kissing him.
CAS WAS KISSING HIM.
Castiel slowly pulled away and smiled. "I learned that from the pizza man." he said. Dean just stared at him. He had never been kissed by another man before, but with Castiel it was different. It was as if the whole world had melted away when Cas' lips touched his.
"Dean?" he said tilting his head. "Are you all right?"
"Yeah," Dean whispered. "Just fine."
