Chapter 1

"Mmm...,I will have you as my own", the presence said. It's fingers were slippery and wet as it wrapped it's fingers or what I thought to be around my shivering throat. I felt my heart quiver as it breathed on me. I couldn't move, I didn't know whether I was tied down or fear that held me still.
"...heh, poor sweetie are you scared?..", it said with a curious delight in his voice.
I felt the tears streaming down my face and I felt the numbness taking over in my weak legs and in my face. I wanted to scream for help but it was if my mouth was sown shut. My body was in a frozen state, the only thing I could do was watch in horror as it played with me in its silence; it rarely spoke and if it did, it was small sentences and frequent pauses. That scared me the most.
I desperately looked for a light or movement...I found nothing,
all I saw was a void of darkness engulfing me.
"Don't worry dear in time...".it came close to my ear and it whispered," I shall have you in my clutch very, very soon."
I then felt something stab through my back and rip through my chest.

I broke my silence with an ear-piercing scream and it hollered in laughter.

Misaki, Misaki Wake up! , the voice was yelling as it shook me.

I gasped as I arched up from the bed in a fit of coughing; I immediately felt my chest for reassurance that it wasn't real. I looked up and I followed up the trail of soft, light pink hair to pale caressing features, a faint blush spread across my cheeks in gratitude to her beauty and in realization it my was neighbor, sakura who had come once again from countless other times to my "rescue". Embarrassed I immediately jumped away from her warm grasp and guilt flooded me as I looked her slightly confused features. I..I'm very sorry sakura, I didn't mean to alarm you...again. It just these nightmares..I..I can't..", before I could finish sakura came up to me and next thing I knew I was in her comforting embrace.

She whispered to me," You're not alone, you don't have to go through this by yourself.
You more than anyone else should know that". I pulled away from her arms and bowed my head," You don't understand, no matter what I do they always come back
"it" always comes back. It's something I must deal with alone and fight alone.
There are some things in this world that can't be helped and this is one of them," I said in strength so concrete that it should've been carved in stone. I grabbed my shoes and took one last look at sakura before I left, her face read pained and guilty she smiled and whispered, "You know, you're right" but her green marble eyes that never failed to capture me screamed things in rebellion in her own words, I knew deep down she
didn't mean what she had said.

I nodded in agreement with a slight smile and walked away into the sun's morning light and sakura stood with a longing expression.
