AMoment Lost

Chapter 1

She looked at the test. Her heart was pounding. This was not just a test like you take at school. This was a test to determine the rest of her life. Tears brimming her eyes. She was taking a pregnancy test. She sat down and looked at it. It was blue. She shook her head and began to cry. She was pregnant. She was pregnant at 17 and heading off to college. She picked up her phone and dialed a filmier number. He picked up.

"Hello?"

"Seth." She said crying.

"Yeah, What's wrong?" He asked concerned.

"I need to talk to you as soon as possible, 'Kay?"

He got a funny feeling in his stomach. "Okay, I'm coming over," He said throwing on shoes.

"Umm, No! Not right now." She said.

"Okay…." He said.

She hung up and sat down on the bed. She took a deep breath and began to pack her bags. She had a aunt in Montana and she would live with her until the baby was born… or longer. She wrote a note that was plan and simple to Seth.

Hey,

I did not leave because of you, I left for my own reasons. I want to come back but it will be too hard. I want you to know I love you and I always will. It will always be you. I want you to live your life happy not wondering where I went. I love you and will always love you it kills me to write this but I have to. Goodbye, Seth Cohen.

She walked down stairs and her dad was sitting there. "Hey daddy." She said.

"Hey," He said, "Have you been crying?"

"Yeah." She had to tell him.

"Daddy I am so sorry" She said crying and hugging him.

"Honey, What's wrong?"

"I…I…I'm pregnant" She replied, throwing her hands in the air. Her dads eyes went big but than soft. "You are?"

"Yes, I took the test 3 times and all positive." She said looking at her feet. He stood up and hugged her.

"Oh god, Dad what I am I going to do? What I am I going to do?" She sobbed into his shirt.

"You can do what ever you need."

"I want to move to Montana with aunt Mandy dad.

"All right. Get your things together. I'll make a call and you'll be there in no time. She shook her head as she walked up the stairs. Once she reached the top she stoped, smiled and said, "Oh yeah and Dad, Thank you." He smiled.

1 hour later…

She made her way down the stairs with her things.

"The car is ready, Hun." Neil Roberts said, taking her bags. He drove her to the airport. Summer's aunt Mandy said she would take her in for as long as she needs. When they got to the airport she said goodbye and gave him the note.

"Dad give this to Seth and tell him I am sorry" He smiled and hugged her one more time.

"Send me a picture of him when he's born."

"Him." She said "How do you not know its a girl?"

He laughed. "I just know it." She smiled and said goodbye and got on the plane. Her life as a teen was over she was now a mom.
