Keselyx: Hey guys! Long time no write, again. I suppose you're getting used to this, eh? Well, that's because I've been going through major writer's block, because I'm rejecting all the humor story ideas. I will get to them, but I feel I need to try to write a different genre and not be such a flat author. (Does that even make sense?) So here we are! A new genre! I'm expanding my writing horizons, aren't you proud?

Crash and Dash
Fsshhhh! The rain poured viciously outside Ryoma Echizen's window. He stared, eyes half-open at the glistening wet street. Sirens blazed past as they always did on a rainy day.
Why are people so careless? Ryoma thought to himself halfheartedly.
Ryoma rested his arm to support his heavy head as he gazed out the window. He stared out, tracking each drop from cloud to sidewalk or rooftop. He watched as they fell—no—glided to their destination. Perfectly placed, placed just so for the perfect accident. The perfect rainstorm.
Ryoma hated the rain.
Another siren flew past, an ambulance this time. Ryoma could tell by the different sound that resonated and the height of the strobe lights that could seemingly stop time.
But why can't they? Ryoma's mind slipped as he sighed.
He sighed because he wanted time to stop. He wanted the rain to stop. He wanted to drift back to the sunny days; those days he could smirk and joke with the regulars, those days where he never felt so alone.
Shiver. Ryoma hugged himself to relieve this sudden chill.
He was alone.
He was a single drop of rain, never able to fly to his compatriots below. He was frozen in isolation in the frigid air above them, tantalizingly close. He was an existence that could not be separate from them, separate from him.
His age had always been a barrier from the regulars, but he had never found them hard to relate to. No, it wasn't his youth that made him the odd one out; Ryoma never was the odd one out. There was always someone. He was always there for him.
He was always there to cheer him up. He was always there to make the best of the situation. He was always there to make Ryoma toughen up.
He was always there.
But now he wasn't.
Ryoma hid his face under his arms, not wanting the rain to see the tears pouring down his face.
He would never see his face again. He would never hear his hearty laugh again. He would never feel the way he did when he was with him; the warmth, the trust, the comfort, the passion.
He would never feel it again.
All that he would feel would be the cold air surrounding him as he remained isolated. He would be chilled, frostbitten until he became numb, never wanting to feel anything again.
One final siren whined passed.
Why were people so careless?
Why was Momo so careless?

Keselyx: Well, what do ya think? It's supposed to be depressing, but I really don't know if I did a good job. It just seems so short. (starts grabbing hair) But I didn't know how it could be longer. Reviews are appreciated! Thank you for reading!
