19 Years Later: Draco Malfoy
King's Cross station had not changed much, still crowded, still stuffy. He remembered his first time here. He and his family had been utterly disgusted with the amount of muggles running around. But now, he didn't mind one bit. Though he was still proud to be a pureblood, the title didn't appeal to him as much as it once did.
Pushing the cart around, he led his wife and son towards platform 9 3/4. His son, Scorpius looked insanely nervous as it came his turn to cross the barrier, in order to enter the platform at which the Hogwarts express was waiting. With a slight push from his father, Scorpius made sure no one was looking while he casually lean against the wall and soon he disappeared. Following after his son, Draco arrived at the platform, where his wife and son were waiting.
Looking around he spotted several familiar faces. His gaze stopped as he saw two males looking at him, one of them wearing a nasty scowl, he gave them a slight nod of acknowledgement.
" You'll write to me every week right?" The little boy asked, looking up at his father.
" Of course, and we'll owl you some treats too. You can share them with your new friends." Draco said, smiling.
" Dad, do you think I'll be in Slytherin?"
" I'm not sure scor, do you want to be in Slytherin?" His son looked a lot like him when he was little, but at heart he was more like his mother, a former Ravenclaw.
" Well, I guess I'll be happy with any house, but I really want to get into Ravenclaw." At this Draco caught his wife beam.
He nodded. " Ravenclaw is a nice house."
The train whistled, signaling that it was almost time to take off. Draco bent down and gave his son a firm hug, as did his wife. He watched as his son boarded the train, waving goodbye till he can no longer see the vehicle. He took his wife's hand and exited the station, waiting impatiently for Christmas to come.
