"Do you want cancel this weekend?" Skinner did his best to sound neutral rather than disappointed. After all, they were working on case.
"No, Walter, we should have things tied up soon here in Kentucky and can make it to the cabin late Friday night." Mulder's voice sounded tired but pretty upbeat. Maybe too upbeat as he continued, "Besides, this will give you time to get into character."
This should be interesting. "In character?"
"Yeah. I've been thinking this week, that it might be fun to play Wild Mountain Man and the Stranded Suburban Couple."
