When Harry came to he found that his chest was shirtless and his abdomen only clad with a loose pair of boxers her was sure weren't his. He rolled over onto his side and found himself face to face with one Draco Malfoy.
How drunk was he last night? Surely not that drunk. He couldn't have been.
He poked at Draco with an extended arm until his eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the late morning light. "Hello sweety," he said with a smile. He frowned at Harry's confusion. "I knew it was a mistake, I knew you wouldn't remember anything."
"What? Remember what?"
"I thought you were sober enough to remember." Draco looked so disheartened, something fluttered in Harry's chest as he watched Draco's face fall. A sudden anger flickered across his face, "I'm so stupid. Why did I believe you? This is my fault."
"Tell me." He said, moving himself closer to Draco. He watched Draco's white blonde hair fall across his eyes and, without conscious instruction, he brushed the hair from Draco's dazzling blue eyes. This was the first time he'd noticed his eyes. Like the ocean and the sky except… better. Harry's heart flicker at the sight. Perhaps he did actually feel something for Draco maybe it wasn't just the muggle's alcohol that poisoned him. His hand lingered at Draco's cheek for some unknowable reason before dropping back into the white covers.
"That I love you," Draco said hopefully. His eyes glimmered with anxiety but he kept his gaze flicked on Harry, searching his face for the answers he desperately longed for.
Harry was surprised at the phrase that left Draco's lips but his brief expression of shock was soon taken over by the widest smile that he had ever smiled. "Same."
It was the only word he could think of but he was sure Draco would understand, anything else would have been incoherent through his shock
There was a flood of blood through his veins that left him giddy with happiness and Harry welcomed his new feelings for Draco with a warm heart. He only had two regrets. One was that he couldn't remember the night before. The second was that both he and Draco had to get so drunk for their feelings to show through.
