Hello here is a one shot for me. Its about Gabriella finding the perfect prom dress for her prom with Troy.

Gabi laid her head on the stirring wheel of her car and cried out in frustration of not finding her prom dress. The prom was in two weeks and coming fast. Her friends were all busy this week, doing other things with their families or teams.

Backing out of the parking lot of near by mall she heads to another dress shop. One that Sharpay recommended. She had trouble finding it for a while, it was on the rich side of town. Dominique's Dresses was the name.

"C'mon! It has to be somewhere alone here." Gabi screamed out loud looking in every direction at every shops. Finally she spotted, slamming on her breaks making a U turn and parallel parked out side the entrance.

As she exit her car, she heard angry voices from down to street, and she turned to the direction it was coming from. Apparently when she had made her U turn Gabriella had caused a major traffic jam.

"Oops!" She giggled to herself and hurried inside and was met by many colors of fabric. She felt giddy inside. It was here she felt it.

After trying on many dress, Gabi began to lose hope. She sat down in her fitting room and covered her face with her hands. She was beginning to feel hopeless and prom was so close and all the good dresses seemed to be taken.

A knock came on the door. "Miss? Is everything okay in there?"

"NO!" She cried. "I can not find my dress. I don't know what to do anymore."

The woman thought for a second and smiled. "Hang on. I have one in the back that you might like."

"I don't think so." Gabi said softly.

"Give it a try." The lady offered.

Gabi got dressed and came out of the room and followed the saleslady to the place she had spoken of.

The lady disappeared for a few moments and brought out a closed dress back and opened it. Inside it was a beautiful. It was a light purple almost a light lavender. The top was a smooth like on a wedding dress and the shirt shaped out into a big gown.

"Wow," She whispered. "I will take it. How much?"

The lady looked to the tag. "450." The lady said.

Gabriella cringed at the price and shook her head. " I don't have enough for it."

The lady took in the sadness on the young girl face as she remembered her own prom. She looked at the tag and said. " You know what? Since you had such a hard time finding a dress. I will give it to you for half the price. 250?"

Gabriella thought about it, her mother gave her 300 dollars this morning and she really wanted that dress. She gave in and nodded.

"I will take it. Thank you so much for your kindness. I would of probably given up today." Gabi smiled softly.

"Its no problem. Now for your shoes." The lady said making the girl looked down to her flip flops.

It was a bit out of character and we all seen what dress she wears in the previews of the movie. I decided to put in my own twist to it.

And I got the U turn off of legally blonde when Elle is looking for nail place. Love that part.
