Name: Dealing With the Pain
Pairings: One-sided D/Leon
Words: 160
Disclaimer: Nope. Don't own. If I did, the sequel would be rated 18 and over and everyone would be happier, I'm sure. Well, at least us rabid fangirls...
Summary: Leon thinks of D and the pain he's putting him through by leaving.
Warnings: Just some language, I guess. Oh, and boy love. If that bothers you, don't read, please.
Author's Note: Ok, well... I was really bored. And wanted to write something for the PSoH fandom. So you get this crappy little one-shot. Enjoy?

Physical wounds were one thing. He could deal with those. Just a few painkillers, maybe a few weeks to heal, and bam, magically cured. Mental deficiencies? Fine. He wasn't the smartest one in the bunch anyways, even if he was a damn good detective. Who needed to know all 459 types of roses when you could use logic to find a serial killer?

But emotional pain was beyond anything else he had ever dealt with before. He could get shot ten times all over his body and it wouldn't hurt as bad as this. He would prefer death over admitting these feelings, however. Especially to anyone who would understand, like Jill.

It was all because that damned D left. What was his purpose in life now? After getting on that ship, seeing paradise, how could he just move on? After meeting D, he knew he would never be the same again.

After all, falling in love does that to a person…

And Leon was head-over-heels in love with the Count.

A/N: I guess you could call it a side piece to "Masks And Wishes" if you wanted to. It does kinda fit, in a lop-sided sort of way. -blinko- Well, please read and review. tell me if I suck! Oh, and flames will be used to heat my freezing cold house (since its SNOWING where I live -grumbles- Stupid weather...)
