"I have my assignment Mr. Schue!" Kurt said excitedly, at the same time as Rachel. They both glared at each other.
"Kurt? Why don't you go first?" Will asked. Rachel glared and opened her mouth until she saw Finn's eyes saying NO! She grudgingly sat down.
Kurt turned on her music and started to sing.
There's only two types of people in the world
The ones that entertain and the ones that observe
Well baby, I'm a put-on-a-show kind of boy
Don't like the backseat, gotta be first
I'm a like the ringleader, I call the shots
(Call the shots)
I'm like a firecracker I make it hot
When I put on a show
I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins
Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break
I'm like a performer, the dance floor is my stage
Better be ready, hope that you feel the same
All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip just like a circus
Don't stand there watching me, follow me, show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dance floor just like a circus
Everyone was jamming out already, Rachel was fuming, Kurt smirked. He kept singing and started dancing, along to the music, even though no body was really watching. Everyone was dancing!
There's only two types of guys out there
Ones that can hang with me and ones that are scared
So baby, I hope that you came prepared
I run a tight ship so beware
I'm a like the ringleader, I call the shots
(Call the shots)
I'm like a firecracker, I make it hot
When I put on a show
I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins
Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break
I'm like a performer, the dance floor is my stage
Better be ready, hope that you feel the same
Kurt kept singing seductively and everyone sang along with him.
All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip just like a circus
Don't stand there watching me, follow me, show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dance floor just like a circus
Quinn and Mercedes did backing vocals for him on the next part. Kurt met Will's eyes and gulped, his teacher was glaring. He kept singing though.
Let's go
Let me see what you can do
I'm runnin' this like-like-like a circus
Yeah, like a what? Like-like-like a circus
All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip just like a circus
Don't stand there watching me, follow me, show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dance floor just like a circus
All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip just like a circus
Don't stand there watching me, follow me, show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dance floor just like a circus!
Kurt finished with a very theatrical bow. Will looked at him and said,
"I told you, no Britney!"
"Well, you told me to pick a song that would make everyone dance. That worked. And you also told me to pick a song that meant a lot to me,"
"No Britney!"
"Alright, alright!" Kurt exclaimed, "I'll leave, pretend this never happened, come back in and perform a different song," Kurt sounded exasperated.
"I have my assignment Mr. Schuester," he performed some song he couldn't remember. Everyone sat down and didn't move, despite it was an amazing dancing song.
Schuester raised his eyebrows and moved on. Nobody danced to any of the songs. That'll show him. Maybe.
