I finally managed to finish the other version of Gem Games and much like that version I got this idea after watching the episode It Could've Been Great. Hope you guys enjoy this and please review!
Gem Games Version 2
"That's it then, mission accomplished!" Pearl said after the Crystal Gems found the location of The Cluster in the moon base.
"Yeah, team!" Steven yelled, punching the air.
"Great, let's get the heck out of here." Amethyst said turning around to leave the room with Pearl and Garnet.
"Wait! Hold on, does this thing have any games on it?" Steven asked Peridot gesturing to the Gem computer in front of them.
Shaking her head before answering Peridot said. "No no no no, this wasn't used for games."
"Aw." Steven said disappointed.
"It was used for planning a colony." Peridot said. "Here, look."
Peridot then pushed several buttons on the gem computer. Unknown to both Peridot and Steven the rest of the Crystal Gems returned to see what was taking the two so long to leave. A new image appeared on the gem computer's screen surprising.
Meanwhile At Homeworld
So far it's been turning out to be a fairly normal day for the Pearl of Yellow Diamond. Officially she served as her diamond's receptionist, but since Yellow Diamond rarely received any major calls in reality she got to serve as her diamond's secretary. So as the Yellow Pearl was sorting through reports, files, answering the occasional call and even going through the mail her diamond has received; to ultimately decide on what needs to be seen by her diamond, she her a sound.
Surprised the Yellow Pearl jumped in her desk and quickly looked around. "What was that?" She asked herself.
"What are you doing?" Asked Yellow Diamond, who was also in the room sitting in her throne as she worked.
Jumping in surprise the Pearl quickly and nervously answered. "I thought I heard something my Diamond."
"Hmm, I heard nothing Pearl get back to work." Yellow Diamond said before turning back to her work.
"Yes my Diamond!" Yellow Pearl quickly replied.
The Yellow Pearl quickly went back to her work as a secretary. Though it was no laughing matter, Yellow Pearl couldn't help but internally laugh at herself thinking that she must have imagined it. The sound; however, quickly returned causing the Pearl to jump again. Thankfully her jump was much smaller and after quickly catching a look towards her Diamond, she relaxed realizing that she wasn't caught. The sound continued though, constantly repeating. Eventually she couldn't take it any more and quickly turned around to hopefully catch whatever's making that sound.
"Yellow Diamond what's that?" The Pearl nearly yelled, pointing at the object in Yellow Diamond's hands.
The object in question was little more then a ball and a cup attached to each other by some string. Yellow Diamond was holding the cup by some handle and appeared to be trying to get the ball into the cup by swinging it up. The sound the Yellow Pearl heard was nothing more then the ball hitting the side of the cup.
"It's called a balero and it's a game." Yellow Diamond answered.
"Well why don't you play a game on your computer?" The Pearl asked genuinely confused on her Diamond's choice in games.
"Because it doesn't have games." Yellow Diamond said with a scowl. "Now get back to work." The Diamond said now recomposed.
"Yes my Diamond." Yellow Pearl said.
Quickly the Yellow Pearl went back to her work. Unfortunately for her Yellow Diamond also went back to playing with her ball and cup. At the first sound of the ball clanking against the cup of the balero Yellow Pearl dropped her head on her desk in frustration.
"Hey look I got it in the cup!" Yellow Diamond yelled excitedly.
Wow this version turned out to be even longer then the original one. Hope you all liked it, please review!
