I call him lollipop. I know it sounds like a weird nick name for a guy, especially your boyfriend but it fits, and he doesn't mind so it stuck.
You've heard the song Lollipop, right? By The Chordettes? Well, if you haven't too bad I'm not going to sing it, I'm a terrible singer.
But I can tell you that the lyrics are,
"Call my baby lollipop, tell you why, his kiss is sweeter than apple pie. And when he does his shakin' rockin' dance, man, I haven't got a chance."
Can you see how that applies to me and Shaggy? He's ALWAYS eating something, and it's usually something sweet. So when I kiss him he tastes of ice cream, and fruit tarts and all these other desserts. Which is sometimes a little strange, but it's one of the many reasons I love Shaggy.
And that second line of the song couldn't be anymore true. I've seen him dance... he's really good. This will probably sound on the verge of over-obsessive fan girl, but I can just sit and watch him dance for hours. He doesn't do it very often though. Only when he thinks no ones looking.
I like to call him lollipop, and sometimes if he catches me humming he'll kiss me just to prove a point. A point sweeter than an apple pie.
