Shizuo Heiwajima was walking down the usual busy streets of Ikebukuro. He was contently smoking on a cigarette as people dashed from one direction or another. Absently, Shizuo wondered where they were heading and where they were going. His sunglasses were slipping off his nose, so he pushed them back up. Then he saw something that made his whole body jump.

Izaya was sitting on a bench just a couple steps away! Shizuo flet his veins pumping with anger and he looked around him hurriedly and saw a street sign close by. He ran up to the street sign and tore it right off from its post. A few observers saw this and gasped and headed on their way. Shizuo ignored them and focused on his target: Izaya Orihara.

He ran up to him at the speed of lightning hitting a poor tree, and stood his ground in front of the informant.

IZAYAAAA!~ WHAT ARE YOUR LAST WORDS BEFORE I POUND YOUR FA-" Shizuo started. Shizuo loosened his grip on the street sign as he saw in front of him, Izaya sleeping on the bench. He tucked his head comfortably on one side of his furry hood and had his arms crossed to keep himself steady. The informant, indeed, was sleeping.

Shizuo could feel eyes stinging on the back of his head as people passed by the two. One, seeing a man holding a street sign to a sleeping man on a bench is an alarming site indeed. And second, you feel the slight urge to take out your cellphone to snap this scene to show your friends later at what you had witnessed on the street. Shizuo ignored the stinging stares of passerby as he thought of how to attack Izaya.

He could always hit Izaya over the head with the street sign in his hand and watch as Izaya crumbled in quick, painless death. Or he could wait and strike Izaya as a surprise attack when he woke up. Shizuo smiled evilly at the second option. How priceless it would be to see the look on Izaya's face as he ambushed him while he was barely awake! An awesome sight to behold!

Shizuo made up his mind and plopped casually next to Izaya on the bench. Izaya didn't flinch one bit and continued dozing off. Shizuo smirked. He really thought Izaya was a light sleeper and that he had very acute senses. Shizuo took note of this as an advantage to use to attack Izaya another time.

"Shi-Shizuo….?" Izaya murmured softly. Shizuo jumped not realizing he would wake up that soon. Shizuo glanced at Izaya in alarm. Izaya was still sleeping. He was talking in his sleep…?

"Uh…yeah?" Shizuo answered hesitantly.

Izaya smiled warmly in his sleep and color rose in his cheeks. Shizuo never knew Izaya could smile so kindly.

"I…I always…always wanted to tell you something…" Izaya murmured in a dreamy voice.

Wh-what?" Shizuo asked, feeling scared of what the answer might be.

"That…you're my…" Izaya muttered. Shizuo leaned in to hear the answer. Izaya slowly lifted his head and pressed his lips into Shizuo's.

Shizuo's face burned and he jumped and slapped Izaya across the forehead. He dropped the street sign and ran away yelling, "You'll regret the day you did that, flea!"

Izaya woke up half an hour later with a throbbing bump lining on one side of his forehead and a warm tingle lingering on his lips. He touched his lips softly and sighed in content as the dream he was having wasn't a dream after all.
