See You In My Dreams
Wow…I feel spiritual for some reason. So I made a Shadow and Maria fic.
Maria was standing before Shadow. She gave him one of her famous smiles that Shadow adores so much. Maria began to talk but no sound came out. The ebony hedgehog was confused of what Maria was saying. It was as if he couldn't understand her. She was talking to him while he couldn't hear a thing. She frowns now as if she knew that Shadow cant hear her. She closes her eyes ever so softly. While the black hedgehog stood there confused as ever. She opens her eyes that revealed beautiful blue eyes. To Shadows horror now she disappeared into a unknown place.
"MARIA!," Shadow screamed.
Shadow awoke with sweat on his face. He was practically used to this. This dream would usually come every night. But the dream was a little different each day. Shadow got off of his jet black bed and walked into his bathroom. He turned on his light switch revealing his bathroom. He walked over to his sink. He turned the knob to cold water. So he could wake up better. He splashed the cold water on his face. When he was done with that process. He looked into his mirror. The mirror before him shown a tired black and red hedgehog. He had some bags under his eyes since these dreams keep waking him up. His eyes shown scared, anger, and sadness all at the same time. He looked away from the mirror and looked at his plain red bathroom wall. Suddenly Shadow heard a faint whisper. Automatically Shadow looked at the mirror. A gasp escaped his lips as he saw his beloved Maria in his reflection.
"Maria," Shadow chocked out in surprise.
Shadow rubbed his eyes. He thought maybe his mind was playing tricks on him since the lack of sleep. But his mind was not playing tricks on him.
"Shadow…please," Maria said sadly.
"Please…What?," Shadow asked confusingly.
"Please, Shadow I only have a limited time to be here so I have to say this quick ok?," Maria said quickly.
Shadow nodded his head. In his mind he defiantly thinks he is going crazy.
"Shadow I want you to be happy…I want you to stop mopping around," Maria said demandingly.
These words made Shadow flinch but he let her continue.
"I want you to do the things you always wanted to do…that would make you happy, I didn't give up my life for you so that you would be unhappy,"
"But, Maria without you I cant be happy," Shadow said sadly.
"Shadow…I have to go,"
"Wait!," Shadow grabbed the mirror. He lost Maria once he wasn't going to let her go again. Maria gave him a sad stare.
"Don't worry…I will visit you in your dreams," Maria said winking and after she said that she disappeared and probably went to the heavens of above.
"Maria," Shadow whispered.
Shadow had put the mirror back on the red wall where it belonged.
"Alright Maria, I will try to be happier," Shadow said while smiling.
Even though Shadow missed Maria, he would still do whatever she says…no matter what. Shadow felt a little tired to he went back on his jet black bed. He turned off the lights. Shadow turned on his side. A smile formed on his face.
"See you in my dreams, Maria,"
