(DEADLOX'S POV)

I laid down on my bed. "I just don't understand." I began to cry again... "I... Everyone I care about is dying..."

"You still have me." Jason said. "And.. And Adam." He quickly added, after Adam gave him an evil look.

"I.. I know guys... It's just... My family... Eveyone's dying these days... Pretty much every year, someone's dying. Soon enough..." I had to try and get a hold of myself. I couldn't. "Soon enough... I'll have no family left. Then I'll be next."

"T... Ty..." Adam teared up. He seemed to feel more sorry for me than he should have. He sat down next to me and put his arm around me. I cried into his shoulder.

Jason quickly took action, sitting on the other side of me and copying Adam's actions, who, FYI, did not appreciate it.

"Ty, your family isn't dying off any time soon, and neither are you..." Jason said.

"I... I know." I said. "I.. I'm just... I'm just... upset..."

Him and Adam both decided to hug me and hit heads trying. "OW!" Adam screamed. I laughed at them. It was the first time I'd laughed in a while.

"That's not funny, Ty!" Adam said, laughing himself.

"Then why are you laughing, too?!"

"I don't know!"

"I love you guys." I blurted out. I blushed as soon as I realized what I said, which wasn't until they both gave me weird looks.

"W-What?" I yelled at them, giggling for some reason.

They just kind of.. Ignored it.

"Hey... Ty?" Jason asked

"Yeah?"

"It's... past midnight..."

I looked at the clock.

"What the hell? When did this happen?" I asked

"About 5 minutes ago." Said Adam, being a smart ass.

"Shut up, Adam" I said, annoyed.

"Damn it, I reaaally can't go back home in the dark... I'm not driving for an hour when it's already past midnight." Said Adam.

"That's okay, you can stay over. I think I have a couple air mattresses in my basement."

"Oh cool, can I stay, too?" Jason asked

"Jason, you live on the same street."

"I know, but If he's gonna be staying..."

"Ugh, fine."
