Chapter 1

Tremors could be felt on air temple island, Droplets of sweat rolled down Bolins' face as he bends the earth beneath him . He'll never know when another lunatic will try to take over the world or start a war again and after the Vaatu incident he didn't want to take any chances. So he decided to get stronger just in case. As boulders were being moved through pure will power his mind began to wander.

"I wonder what Korra's doing?" Bolin began to picture her beautiful azure eyes and unconsciously smiled as he began to remember her fiery personality. "I hope she's alright" He remembered the break up between her and his brother Mako. "Well it's been 2 weeks since they broke up for good, Korra has been training with Tenzan non stop. And Mako's been working cases back to back..." His thoughts were interrupted as he felt a furry creature crawl up his back. "Oh hey Pabu! You hungry? Lets grab some lunch!"

The fireferret munched down its food and began to yawn. "Tired huh buddy?" Bolin smiled as he began to scratch Pabu behind the ears. "Crazy how peaceful the city is now." A familiar voice snuck up from behind him. "Asami!" Bolin lunged at her for a bear hug. "How are you? I haven't seen you for a couple of weeks! How's the business going?" His emerald eyes lit up at the sight of her.

"Business has been good Bo! Or should I say Nuktuk! How's Ginger? You guys are a thing now aren't you? Republic city's power couple?" she give a wide smirk followed by a wink.

"Oh no no no! Ginger and I weren't working out, she only liked me because I was a hero that time I saved the president. We're still friends though."

"Yeah? Have you seen your brother lately?" Bolin sensed a little bit of resentment as she said this

"He's been working cases non stop since the Vaatu incident... Asami, don't tell me you're-"

"Of course not! I've learnt my lesson with him..." She took a deep breath " I don't want to feel anymore guilt."

Bolin lunged at her and gave her one of his signature Bolin hugs "You'll be okay Asami. You'll find someone I promise!"

"Thanks Bo...It means a lot." She felt as if Bolins' words lifted a heavy weight off her shoulders. " So how about you and Korra then? I can tell you're still into the Avatar."

"Is it that obvious?" He replied.

She nodded.

"Well, I haven't seen her in ages! Honestly I don't know if she likes me the way I like her..." He felt his heart sink.

" Don't give up hope Bo! You're a great guy, I think you're the Yin to your brothers Yang. If Korra feels the way I feel, I think she'll want a change of pace... If you know what I mean." She said in a playful way and gave Bolin a nudge on the shoulder.

Bolin couldn't help but laugh at the remark. Asami continued "I got a great idea! Why don't you ask her out on a date tonight? Don't worry about the expenses I'll cover it." She said with a smile.

"Really?! You'd do that for me? Asami, you're the best friend a guy could ever ask for!" Bolin began to tear up with joy "But, what if she says no? She broke up with Mako only 2 weeks ago..."

"Trust me Bo, she'll say yes to you. I know she will" There was no doubt in her emerald eyes, it filled Bolin with hope. "Wear something nice for tonight, you'll be taking her to the best restaurant in republic city! I'll make the reservations." Asami felt good being the match maker. "Bolin and Korra will make such a cute couple!" She thought to herself.

"Um, I'll go find Korra and ask her out then." With a hint of nervousness in his voice, Bolin began to search the temple for Korra.
