It's been almost a month since the war started, and things are getting too complicated now. Ron just left about a week ago, but I'm not sorry about it, because maybe we just weren't meant to be. It's just that Harry has been overly stress and-
My thoughts were interrupted by Harry walking in the room. Why couldn't I just tell him? Well, one he has a girlfriend who is one of my best friends. Two he already has too many things to think about right now. Three he also thinks that I'm in love with Ron, but I'm not… I'm in love with him.
"Cleo! Hey have you heard anything on the radio recently?" Harry asked worriedly.
"No. I. Haven't. I don't think I will for a while since the radio just broke! Dammit! Well there goes our only source of media for the war. Oh, well."
"Hey why don't you let me have a go at it." Then Harry grabbed the radio and started tweaking with the springs.' Dang that dude was strong! Wait! Cleo he has a girlfriend, and you don't even have a chance.' I thought to myself.
"All fixed!"
"Yay! Now turn it on! I need to see if anyone has been hurt."
"In other news 23 people were killed in a Muggle city today. The names of the people killed were…. Cleo listened closely till she heard the name "Alexis Everett". She fell to her knees in tears. "No. NO! This can't be true! Not her! Not now!" I kept holding my body with my arms in dismay until Harry ran into the room.
"Cleo are you okay? Cleo! Why are you crying? What happened?" he asked frantically.
"My best friend. My BEST friend is dead!" Then Harry pulled e into a strong hug, and I cried into his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry Cleo! If you need anything I'm here ok?"
"Harry, can I tell you something?"
"Anything."
"Ok please don't freak over this but I love you."
"Aw I love you too!" He said jokingly.
"No I mean I'm IN love with you."
"Wait. What?" and he pulled away from me. "You're in love with me, but I thought you loved Ron."
"I lied. But-"
"How can you lie about something like that? Why did you lie to me? Here I am thinking it would take a miracle to get you to notice me, and now… A tear fell down his down his face which just made me cry harder… "Now everybody thinks I love Ginny."
"No just forget that I even said anything okay? I'm sorry! I was just scared to tell you!"
"Don't you think I've never been scared before? I'm in the middle of a damn war, and you don't think I'm scared!" Harry shouted at me now with tears in his eyes.
"Well sometimes people can't always be as brave and mighty as "Harry Potter so-"
"Will you just SHUT UP FOR ONCE!"
"What did you just," I never got to finish what I was going to say cause then Harry crashed his lips with mine.
"What was that for?"
"Don't you get it? Cleo I've loved you since 5th year! I've been holding my emotions for 2 YEARS! I thought that you would notice by now because every time I'm around you… you just bring me to life."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Then what are waiting for?" I said sobbing happily.
With that he crushed his lips against mine and we fall over the radio onto the ground. Then he grasped my ass, and I gasped, which gave him the chance to shoot his tongue in my mouth.
"I love you so much." Harry said thoughtfully.
"I love you too," was all that I could choke out.
Then our lips crushed together as they should've been years ago.
