Summary: Mimi's vision during "Finale B"
Mimi Marquez was laying on the table at Roger and Mark's loft. Maureen and Joanne found her freezing in the park and she had begged to go to the loft.
"Come on, Meems! Come back to me, baby," Roger half pleaded. As hard as Mimi tried to hold on, she could feel herself slipping away.
"Goodbye...everyone. I'll miss you," she thought. Suddenly Mimi felt herself floating over what seemed to be the moon. Then she found herself in a tunnel. "Am I dreaming?" she asked herself, still shivering. She kept walking down the tunnel until she saw a bright white light. Mimi walked into the light and wasn't cold anymore. "Where am I?" she wondered out loud "Roger! Mark, Maureen, Joanne!" she called out. When she realized her friends were nowhere to be found, she began to feel frightened.
Then she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned around. "Angel?" she gasped.
"Hey, Chica" said Angel smiling. Mimi hugged Angel as tight as she could.
"Oh my God," said Mimi through tears. " I thought I'd never see you again. And where am I? I'm scared," she continued, now sobbing.
"Shh! Easy, sugar," soothed Angel. "You're in heaven. Let me show around." Mimi nodded. She couldn't bear the thought of leaving Roger behind, but she took Angel's hand and the tour began. Heaven looked mostly like clouds and it was sunny.
"Ok, so this is where I live. Pretty cool, huh?" said Angel pointing to a beautiful blue glass house, the same colour as the nail polish she used to wear. Mimi looked all around. This place truly was beautiful.
"Wow, Ang, this is...pretty," Mimi said in awe."I always thought we'd be the last people to end up in heaven, you know, you being a cross dresser, and me being a heroin addict," she added.
"Well, honey, God isn't as vengeful as people think." explained Angel.
"Could I meet him?" asked Mimi
"He is actually a She" Angel giggled.
" Well, could I meet her then?" Mimi asked again
" 'Fraid not, Chica," answered Angel.
"Why not?" Mimi asked a little disappointed.
"It's not you're time, sugar," said Angel gently. "When it is, I'll be right here waiting for you. I promise."
"Alright," agreed Mimi, hugging Angel. Mimi could hear the faint sound of someone singing. It sounded like Roger.
"Now turn around, girlfriend! And listen to that boy's song!" instructed Angel.
With that Mimi found herself back at the loft. "I jumped over the moon!" she exclaimed
"She's back!" said Joanne happily.
"I was in a tunnel, headed for this warm, bright light," said Mimi, explaining what she saw. "And I swear, Angel was there!" she continued "She looked good! She said 'turn around girlfriend! And listen to that boys song!' " Everyone laughed. Roger had his arms around Mimi. He was happy to have her back, and he promised himself, he'd never let her go again. Mimi looked toward the sky and smiled. "No day but today," she whispered. She was happy to be alive and with her friends again.
