Just something i wrote in Physics class when i was supposed to be doing...well physics :-P I came across it a few days later and thought "Ya know...this kinda reminds me of Shizuku from whisper of the Heart!"
And thus, this amateur (and probably bad) poem came to be on FF :) Sorry if it's horrible, i'm not good at poetry, i just put it up here because i liked it.

Daydreamer's Wish
This life I live is dead and old
I need an adventure to begin.
Like the life of a hero my books hold,
My mind is the place I shall live in.
I want to strike with an arrow and wield a sword,
And use them to save those around me from death.
Who wants to be struck in a desk, silent and bored?
I want to go somewhere where nothing is what you expect.
I want to caress a dragon's scales.
I want to be cursed by a witch.
I want Hermes to deliver my mail,
And I want to catch a golden snitch!
This normalcy is a mere game,
Filled to the brim with laughter and strife.
Maybe phoenix tears can ease my pain,
Or a much needed run for my life!
These dreams are black holes in my mind,
Whose alluring temptations capture me.
Making my life a tape I must rewind,
And fill with adventure and rhapsody.
To sail across the ocean of blue.
To have magic dance across my fingertips.
To discover the existence of creatures I've never known,
That, my friends, is a daydreamer's wish.
