Sometimes, music can take you somewhere. Alright, maybe it doesn't physically carry you places, but metaphorically, it moves you. With the right lyrics, and the right melody, your mind can be engulfed this incredible world of freedom. I mean, it's been there all along, but with the complexities of life, and having to be conscious all the freaking time can help you forget how awesome it is to just relax, and dream. Music is just another pathway, to another dream of which you didn't even realize you had. You can suddenly feel yourself changing, and your whole body feels like it's waking up for the first time, when all that is truly living is your imagination. It's an incredible feeling, to know that with the right song, in the right moment, you're taken somewhere. Somewhere only you know. And you don't even have to get our of bed. This somewhere is where you can embrace the true passing of these new emotions, and help you warm to the feeling of true satisfaction. In that moment, for some unknown reason you suddenly believe that someone out there has written those words just for you to hear, as if you're the only person in the entire universe that was ever meant to hear them. I guess some people could call that selfishness, but really, treating yourself to a bit of full-hearted wishing never really hurts.
The truth is, words are so objective on their own; and yet somehow, when a certain array of words are formed together, to you, it could appear as the most delicately formed sentence you've ever understood. To another, the exact same statement can be meaningless.
Everyone sees words differently, and have a different process of which they generally read things. The way most people react to certain words will always be different to how you do. I guess I'm boring you by explaining such an obvious concept over and over again, but there'll come a time where you'll realize something. The day that you find a words craftsman that with every slip of his tongue you fall slightly in love, there's no way you're ever going back to the days where words were meaningless. You've suddenly just been dealt this unbelievable, untouchable connection. Most likely, this is to someone you've never met before, to someone who you've only ever heard speak, and never had the chance to know; which sucks. Because then, your hopes of ever actually getting to talk to this person, as in real life, face to face, reality kind of talking are automatically lowered, quite sufficiently too. That's the part that hurts most; having to understand that the faint possibility of meeting this person is still there, and yet taking the action of actually trying to get it to happen is so freaking difficult.
But through all this disheartenment, nothing could ever take you down. Something is finally telling you that you're not alone, and to have that kind of realization is life changing. That kind of power would keep a forgotten child fighting for acknowledgment for decades. Now you know that theres another person out there, who sees the world just as you do in all of its incredible insanity, there's no way you can forget them, and there's no chance that you're going to chose to live without them any day soon. It's a dream, none the less.
And maybe, one day, in some crazy world, whether it be the one we walk in, or the one we fly; maybe there's a chance that you'll be able to embrace that, together. That's the dream. At once, you realize your greatest ambition.
You're after them. In the hope, and through the faith that one day, you'll meet your fine words craftsman, and you'll make them see; that in fact, they are the ones that have been looking for you, forever.
