"Hold my hand"
ONE SHOT:
She walked on in a hopeless trance, along the edge of the Forbidden Forest, but what lurks deep in the forest was nothing compared to the sadness and sorrow of her life. She felt an immense weight on her shoulders and an undeserved pain on her heart.
Many thought she was lucky, she was after all the smartest and first in her class. She was supposed to be happy, she was super intelligent, she had the two best friends anyone could ever have.
Hermione Granger is a lucky girl, right?
What no one noticed or knew, was that everyday she suffered and hurt deep inside. No one was there and she was too afraid, maybe too ashamed or embarrashed to even let her friends know about her sorrow and secrets.Every day she told herself that one day she will see him again. He had come into her life and swept her off her feet. But he would come once again and take away all the pain and sadness. As she walked with moonlight on her back, she imagined him and all that she loved about him. Ever since her life started to turn upside down, she escaped into her mind and imagination and into the world in which she had been loved by the perfect man who saved her from the terrors that haunted her in everyday life.
His perfect hair blows in the wind as he stares into her eyes, full of love and adoration.
His eyes are like pools of dark, mysterious water, ones that promise joy, happiness and security.
His hands and strong arms embracing her as the sobs wreck her body and the tears escape into the unknown leaving her empty inside. But as he lifts her chin with his gentle hand and looks into her eyes, she knows that perhaps she will be okay.
Maybe she will be able to make it after all, as long as she has him by her side holding her hand along the way. As she leans into him and brings her lips to his, he smiles down at her and she sees sadness in his eyes. She knows that it is only her own sorrow mirrored in his eyes at the realization that he is nothing but her own creation.
She comes out of her trance and looks around. A huge sigh escapes her lips as she looks around to find that she is merely alone. She looks up at the moon and a small smile plays on her lips. She can still see him on that white and bright surface. He is not and will never be there in person to hold her and whisper sweet and loving things into her ear. But as long as she keeps him deep in her heart she will always feel his presence and walk through life with him by her side, holding her hand along the way.
