Decided to watch all of the SG1 episodes and when I watched Solitudes I just had to write something. Hope you like :D
She lay on the bed, tossing and turning as much as she was able in the cramped space. Janet watched her friend concerned; except for a brief bout of consciousness when they had air lifted her out of the cave Sam had been unconscious since they found her.
Beside Sam lay Jack, who was currently strapped up so not to agitate his broken legs.
Suddenly Sam started muttering to herself, "Sorry sir, I should have got us home." There was a pause before she muttered something more, Janet moved closer and heard, "Honour serving with you too Colonel."
Janet threw Daniel a look and he looked back and shrugged. Then Jack began mumbling too, "Not your fault Carter." He muttered something neither could hear before saying, "Knew it was you."
Daniel noticed that both their hands were moving, searching for something. He looked up at Janet, wondering if she had seen it too. She looked at him and nodded and then looked between the two officers quickly before looking around the plane. Teal'c was sitting to the side doing his meditation thing and Hammond looked like he was asleep at the front of the plane. She looked back at her best friend and the Colonel and reached out and took both their hands, putting them together. The two stopped mumbling and muttering immediately and both seemed to be resting peacefully. Janet looked over at Daniel and whispered, "I won't tell if you don't."
Daniel smiled at her and mimed sealing his lips. They both thought that the two of them deserved some comfort after what they had been through.
