"I cannot accept this position." She runs away from the auditorium.
"Green Lantern Queen" Laura was already gone. She found a secluded spot and immediately sat down and started to cry.
'Why me after all the horrible things I have been forced to do. I should have never deserved this honor wielding Hal Jordan's ring. He was the greatest Green Lantern who ever lived. I defiantly do not deserve his legacy bestowed upon me ever. Laura cried and cried until she fell into a fitful sleep.
Lost Sister
"We must find her" all of the other guardians agreed with Ganthos as another GL entered the room she looked exactly like Laura Queen.
"Green Lantern why are you here?"
"Guardians, my name is Sara Queen."
"Do have any relation to Laura Queen?"
"She is my long lost sister our parents were killed soon after we were born. The Justice League saved us, and we were adopted by Green Arrow and Black Canary. Very quickly it became apparent that when she and I were together, we were able to do a lot of good, but we weren't able to fully control our powers so before we got the chance to be a real family with our adoptive parents. The Chinese government took us from our home, trained us for their justice they said. Our memories were erased, and I was transported to the other side of the world being cared for like one of their own. I didn't know I had a sister it has only been in the last few months I've been able to remember most of the things that were erased from my mind."
"Can you bring Green Lantern K.T. Queen back she will be a great hero once she's learned to conquer her insecurities."
"I believe I can bring her back willingly, but I can't make any promises."
"We understand just do your best that's all we ask."
"Of course."

"Laura, wake up, come on sis can you wake up for me."
"Mmm, what's going on?"
"You fell asleep. You're lucky that I had found you before Kilowog did. He doesn't like rookie sleeping on the job."
"Ok, but why did you call me sis?"
"Because you are my sister you probably don't remember me because of what the Chinese government did to you. I would like to take you on a trip to help you remember."
"Ok, so where are we going to first?"
"Earth."
1st Stop
On the way to Earth, Sara regaled her sister with her memories to help her remember hers before and after the separation.
"Here we are this was the house where our parents were killed. Do you remember anything?"
"Not much just a foggy memory of our parents I think putting us to bed."
"Here's a clearer picture of them." Sara pulled out a small picture of their parents. "They were killed around five weeks after we were born, but before then they gave us both half-shaped heart necklaces. She pulled out two full necklaces one from around her neck and one from a portal.
"This one is yours the government sold it to a jeweler to quickly raise the money to take care of you without using taxpayer's money. I was only able to buy it back last month."
"Now I can remember some sounds from that night, the night when our parents were killed. So what's our next stop?"
"Watchtower."
2nd Stop
"Why are we heading to the Watchtower?"
"Because when our parents were killed the shooter accidentally started a fire not knowing that we were inside the house. Green Arrow and Black Canary saved us from that fire and upon learning of our parent's demise they adopted us." Sara and Laura beamed to the station and went in search of Green Arrow and Black Canary.
"There they are." Sara pulled her sister toward the archer and his canary. "GA, Canary can we talk to you for a second in private." The four of them enter an unused meeting room.
"So GL what do you want to talk about?"
"I've told you the story of how I became Green Lantern after getting my freedom from the corrupt government."
"Yes, you have, but only to GA and I. Does this have anything to do with your twin?"
"I know that you had adopted twin daughters taken from you what were their names Mr. Queen."
"How do know my secret identity?"
"Just answer my question, and I'll answer yours."
"Our daughter's names were Sara Keohan-Queen and Laura Walsworth-Queen."
"To answer your question my name is Sara."
"And I am Laura." The reunited family rejoiced in finally coming back together. They stayed in that room until the twins told their adoptive parents everything that has happened to each other. Tears were shed and fits of laughter were putting their owners into stitches.
"This feels great."
"What?"
"Having a real loving family."
"You know the two of you can call us mom and dad if you want."
"Thanks, mom."
"So do you feel like you can handle the responsibility of being a Green Lantern. "
"Yeah, I think I am."
"Cool, let's go."

"Laura Walsworth-Queen coming before the Guardians you accepting all the regulations and choices the council makes."
"I will."
"Do you accept the responsibility of being a Green Lantern."
"I do."
"Now say your sacred oath and power up your ring."
