146 B.C. - Fall of Greece

On the coast of Themyscira stood the great Amazons. They stood watching as a lone trireme approached the shores. At the head of the Amazons, stood Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons.

When the trireme hit the shore, five men stepped out, all of them injured and limping in varying degree. One stepped forward and walked towards the Queen on the Amazons. Before he could reach her. Amazons stepped forward unsheathing there weapons, blocking his path. "State your business!", commanded one of the warrior women.

The man stared forward, past the other Amazons, directly at Hippolyta. He spoke loud and clearly, "Please Hippolyta, we require refudge, Greece has fallen to the Romans. The gods are no more. We have nowhere to go." Briefly, he looked back at his men. "We fought hard until we could no longer, we are injured and only seek refudge, if not forever, then for enough time for us to gather our bearings and leave."

"Lower your arms, sisters.", said the Amazonian Queen. The Amazons immediately lowered their weapons, but were still prepared, if the need arised. "Who are you? How did you find this place? There is no map or recording of the location."

"My name is Perseus. I am of Mycenae. I am a son of Poseidon. My father guided me here before he fell.", spoke the man now identified as Perseus.

Hippolyta merely raised an eyebrow questionly. "You are a demi-", she began before Perseus dropped to his knees, clutching his side and grunting.

Only then did Hippolyta truely realize the condition Perseus and his men were in. As she rushed forward to help him, she noticed the arrow shaft sticking out of him. He began to stain the sand crimison. "Get them to the infirmary, now!", she spoke, her voiced laced with authority. As Perseus and his men were being hauled away, she looked down at her crimson stained gauntlet, and noted the golden specks littering the blood. "Oh, the hardships these men must have gone through.", she thought silently to her self.

--Line Break--

High up on Themyscira, stood a beautiful woman with silky black hair and striking blue eyes, who wore armor similar to that of the Amazons, this was Diana, daughter of Hippolyta, a great hero to come, the latter of which she did not know of yet. She watched the whole scene unfold on the beach. She watched the men with intensity. This was the first time in her life she had ever seen a male, she was quite intrigued, especially by the one who stepped forward. Whatever the reason, they were here, she would find out. Maybe they could take her to Man's World. His Arrival was most definitely unexpected.

Something short... This is just a one-shot but should you guys want it, I can turn this into a full story, maybe. Btw a trireme is Ancient Greek ship.
