Larxora
Sometimes, being infuriated by someone isn't so bad. Take Axel, for instance. The annoying prick with pyromanic tendencies had his uses. Oh, how she relishes using the past tense for him. Sure, maybe he isn't dead yet, but hey—he isn't exactly alive, either, now is he? And maybe he occasionally makes her non-heart flutter—from rage, of course—with little more than a smirk, or a 'got it memorized?', but that's why she hates him, after all. Nobody reminds the Savage Nymph of her lack of a heart, no pun intended.
And that is why she is going where she is going at the moment. After all, Axel and Marluxia can't have all the fun. She wants to play with the toy, too! How often is it that she gets to have a little fun, hm? The Organization doesn't give vacations, forget munny, and so all she wants is to have a little good old-fashioned fun! And when was the last time she got to mash someone into the ground with her knives and thunder? Someone who wasn't a Dusk to practice on?
But…maybe she'd prefer a Dusk, come to think of it. Standing in front of the boy ("You're with Axel, aren't you?" "Ooh, aren't you clever?"), looking at him, it becomes difficult to remember what she came for. Dusks at least don't have those brave blue eyes. Dusks aren't ready to tear down a whole castle to find someone they think they love.
Love…
The word infuriates her, reminds her of her task here. She can't—she won't let herself be taken by a stupid, little 14-year-old boy! He's far too young for her. He's a Somebody, the Keyblade Master, a stupid island bum! She's—why, she's no better than Naminé, for Heavens' sake, or she would be, if she let herself see Sora as anything more than a toy. Look at him, groveling like the mindless slave he'll soon become ("Na…Nami…Naminé?"). He is living proof that love makes you weak. It's being a Nobody, being heartless, having no feelings—that's what makes you strong.
But still…in their short battle, something makes her hold back, pull back just a little so that he wins…it can't hurt, can it? She's not supposed to kill him, anyway. Besides, if he wins, he'll be emboldened, think he can go on in Castle Oblivion and win Naminé 'again' ("Guess you really are a hero. A heartless hero!").
Oh, but she will kill Sora. She'd rather see him suffer under the chains of Naminé's handiwork, feeling his heart grow heavier and heavier until he loses it altogether. She'll make him beg for death, and then only will she kill him. She can't kill him now. It would ruin the plan. Her simple logic and sadism are the only reasons she held back.
Right?
Maybe not, and that's why she hates him so much. Nobody, and she means absolutely bloody nobody, reminds the Savage Nymph that she doesn't have a heart.
This is for xrustedsilhouette's nifty challenge! I really hope this is within the rules and I hope you like it!! Um...nothing belongs to me! Not even the events. ;; Ha, this is actually kind of dark for me, but whatever...
