"What?" Ambrose sighed as he looked over to where his cousin was staring at him.
"You know something Ambrose?" Sabriana spoke in a curious tone.
"What?" Amborse sighed as he sat back in the chair and waited for her to tell him. At least with Sabrina it won't be some horror thing like a witch whom loves eating males.
"You would make one fine black cat." Sabriana nodded.
"What because of my skin color?" Ambrose groused.
"No." Sabrina replied.
"Then why should I be a damn black cat?" Ambrose rolled his eyes.
Sabrina shrugged. "Then perhaps you could be unbided and leave the grounds." She cocked her head. "Wouldn't you like that Am?"
Ambrose shurgged. "I don't mind being here. The aunts are great. Now that you are here I have someone to talk to." He closed his eyes and rested.
"But don't you want to be able to leave and age once more." Sabrina bit her lower lip. "I mean you are literally trapped in your seventeen year old body for all time. Don't you want to age and be treated like the full grown adult that you actually are."
Ambrose eyes opened. "I don't mind."
"You aren't my first cousin Am ... I'm your third cousin for crying out loud." Sabrina sighed in frustration. "But you are trapped here for good and have to pass yourself as my equal ... then when I age ... then you have to live like I am your senior. When that isn't true." She breathed in. "I promise you Am that I'm going to find a way to release you of this bind. I'm going to get your life back for you."
Ambrose sat forward so he could look seriously into Sabrina's hopeful but thoughtful eyes. "Sabrina if I were set free once more ... then I would willing go back to the heinors crimes that I was committing before they gave me this sentence." He sighed. "I really and truly don't want to go back to that way of life."
"But you won't. You can still be you ... the you that you have been for the past seven decades." Sabrina sat forward in passion. "You have changed into a better warlock Ambrose Spellman. I have compelte faith in you."
Ambrose looked into his young cousin's trusting and confiant eyes without sadness. "Don't ever those that faithful in hope that you have Sabrina Spellman. No matter where life leads you. Weather you remain a hyperbird ... or you choice your immortal life finally ... or you choice your mortal life." He reached over and took her right hand in both of his own. "Don't let the cruelity of life to tear it out of you."
Sabrina swallowed around the lump in her throat. "I promise." She whispered. "I'm going to find a way to free you Ambrose." She remained firm in her promise.
Ambrose sighed. "I hope that if you do free me ... that I will live honorable to honor you Sabrina." He smiled as a lone tear rolled down his left cheek. He kept her hand in his as the room began to darken even more as the night turned into midnight.
