A/n: I had an idea. I couldn't get this out of my head. What was heaven
like for Buffy? I then thought up this. Tell me what you think.
Disclaimer: If I owned Buffy, I would be rich, and stuff. I would then devote all my time to the show, that I would have no time to write on this site. I am the girl with no life and a LOT of free time to write on this site. I don't own anything. Boo.
I guess I looked noble running to meet my death. Like someone who didn't care that they died to save their sister. But I was sacred. Odd. You think that because I had already died, it might be easier. It wasn't. But it was my gift to Dawn. Death. Death was my gift. And looking back, I can't remember being scared after I jumped. It was just before. I guess it hurt. I don't really remember. I just know it wasn't the fall that killed me. I was dead before I hit the ground.
How do I know? I remember watching. I saw my body fall out of the portal. I saw it close and I saw my body hit the ground. I was up in the sky, not standing on anything, just floating, as I watched this. Do you know how odd it was to watch my body fall?
"Odd?" A soft voice said, behind me. I turned around. It was a ghost, or a spirt or something. It looked more transparent then I did, though, I noticed by looking down at my body.
He had brown and blond hair, with blue eyes. He reminded me of someone. I couldn't place him for a second, and then it hit me.
"Spike?" I asked.
The man smiled, "William, really. You can call me Spike if you want to."
I shook me head, "If your William, then I'll call you William."
He laughed, "Will. William takes to much time to say."
"So, why are you here." I asked.
"Two reasons. I have business, and I told your mom I would bring you back."
"My.my mom?"
"Yes, your mom. You're coming to heaven, love."
I smiled, "What's your business?"
He waved his hand at the scene below him, "Sad. Wait for me here."
He dove down, and landed on the ground next to Willow. He touched her, and she just continued crying. He then made his way to Spike, or himself.
His hand went out, and grabbed Spikes. His outline faded a bit, and Spike looked even sadder, but went over and put a arm around a sobbing Dawn.
"What did you do?" I asked him, then.
A sad smiled appeared on his face. "He cares for you Buffy. More then I think you know."
"He cares for me." I echoed, "What."
"He cares enough for you to begin to get his soul back. Not much, but every time he feels a human emotion, love, happiness, sadness," he glanced at me, "He gets a little back. He is becoming less and less monster, and more and more a man."
I looked at him, sitting there with Dawn, and I knew they would all be okay. Maybe not the best they could be, but they would live through this, and they would be okay. I glanced at Will.
"Can we go now?"
He smiled, "Sure. We can go now. Take my hand." He offered me one of his transparent hands.
I smiled and took it.
"Lets hurry now. Your mom can't wait to see you." He said.
I glanced down at me friends, and said, "Lets go then!"
With a laugh, he sped off into a cloud that was hovering.
"Flying is so overrated." He said with a grin.
"You use clouds as cars?" I asked.
"No. Only some. Haven has its own brand now. Their called The Heaven Riders. I think. Ask one of the people with one. Me, I just use clouds."
We drove for a while, and then we came to a gate. It was high above earth. I think I saw two people next to it. He stopped the car, I mean cloud, and I got out. Taking my hand, he head me to the gate...
A/n: This is going to get more chapters soon. Like a What Buffy did in Heaven thing, I guess. Sorry this is so short. I just, did it short. Please review. Pretty, pretty please with sugar on top?
