Where My Heart Belongs
I had a dream, off and on for awhile now
It was of me and my army girl
And us being together with no cares in the world
Living life the way we wanted, no interruptions
No one getting in the way or trying to get in the way
Just us being happy, holding onto each other
We'd kiss each other sweetly
Whisper sweet nothings when the other was down
Took care of each other when sick
Our souls were complete with each other
We fell asleep in each others arms
I woke up and realized how much I wanted that
I want her with me, by my side
I want to be her one and only
The one that she can confide in
I want to grow old with the girl of my dreams
To show her she is my soul mate
And that we are meant to be
Connected greater than with anyone else
We have shared dreams of us marrying
And shared dreams of having a child
I know those are dreams of what the future holds
I am not giving up on the girl I love so much
I am not going to let our love die so easily
I will stay strong for her
She will remain in my heart at all times
Just like I am in hers
We can put our problems ahead of us
Or we can help each other through them
True love is when you are willing
To do anything and everything to be with that person
I am willing to do everything in my power
To have the one I love most back with me
To remind her that I am never leaving her
And to remind her that I will always be hers
