Hi everyone

Disclaimer: Lion King doesn't belong to me. Here a one shot where a familiar Lion come to Scar and convice him to change his mind about killing his family.

Scar was walking to the gorge with a small cub Simba. Today was the day Mufasa would died and he live.

Out of Simba earshot, Scar whisper with a spit to the ground. "Guess Ahadi prettyboy won't be alive for much longer."

Simba walk behind him, jumping up and down. Scar remember when he was Taka jumping up and down behind his brother. Scar shook these thoughts out and call out for Simba.

"Simba."

"Uncle Scar!" Simba ran up and nuzzle his Uncle stomach.

Scar felt little comfort from the nuzzle and they both continue walking to the gorge. "Now you wait here. Your father has a marvelous surprise for you." Scar force a smile to come out as he lead Simba to a rock.

"Oooo what is it?" Simba ask wanting to know and can't take anymore of the 'secret.'

"If I tell you it wouldn't be a surprise will it."

"If you tell me I still act surprise." Scar remember himself even more as a cub in Simba. He can tell Simba look up to him. More flashes came into his head.

"You are such a naughy boy." Scar chuckle.

Simba lean onto him with his little paws. "Come on Uncle Scar."

"No-No-No-No-No-No. This is just for you and your daddy. You know a sort of Father Son thing. Well I better go get him."

"I come with you."

"No!" Scar snapped and it cause the cub to froze. "Hehehe. No. Just stay on this rock." Scar walk up and it cause Simba to back up and went on the rock. "You want to end up in another mess like you do with the hyenas?"

"You know about that?"

"Oh Simba everybody knows about that."

"Really?" Simba felt embarrassed.

"Oh yes, lucky daddy was there to save you eh." Scar who getting ahead of himself lay a paw behind Simba back, "Ohhh and just between us. You might want to work on that little roar of yours um?"

"Oh ok." Scar turn around and begin to walk away, Simba again perk up, "Hey Uncle Scar. Will I like the surprise?"

"Simba it to DIE for."

Scar walk up a cliff, being a good climber so he got up. Scar let a sigh out, as soon as the day pass Simba and Mufasa would both be dead.

"This is my chance of my life."

"This isn't Taka."

Taka turn around and his eyes went wide, so wide, they would have fallen off if he hadn't had them attach. He saw a brown Lioness and she look into his eyes. "Mom?!"

"Taka."

"What are you doing here?"

"To tell you don't do this. He just a cub, he loves you."

"But Mufasa doesn't and Ahadi didn't."

"That may be true that Ahadi didn't love you Taka but I and Mufasa did. I let you hunt with me and the other Lioness. Think about Sarafina, she wouldn't want this."

"She had a mate Ni and gave birth to Nala."

"True but she did felt bad for you and when he was force to leave you two mated and she gave birth to another cub. Mheetu."

"Mheetu is my son?!"

"Yes. Sarafina love you so much, she wanted to be your mate and Nala to have a father that she never had."

"But I could be King."

"There more then being King then getting your way all the time Taka. You can still have a very happy life with Sarafina. If you won't do it for Mufasa do it for me and Sarafina."

Scar felt an empty battle in his soul, one part is Scar and the other is Taka.

"Mom I done so many horrible things."

"I know but you can still redeem yourself."

Uru motion for the edge and they both saw wildebeests, the impatient hyenas must have acted but they were running to Simba who gasp and then run.

"Save him! Redeem yourself Taka!"

Taka nodded and he saw Simba running to a tree log, Taka begin to run in while Uru stand there.

"Good luck my son."

Farther from the gorge was the King and a majordomo. The Majordomo said, "Why look sire the herd on the move on."

"Odd. Let go check it out."

Mufasa ran to the gorge with Zazu behind him.

Taka try to make his around the wildebeests, he saw an opportunity to get pass one and ran forward to the tree but got knock by one. He look up to Simba tiny form on the rock with shock across his face, the tree got struck by a blind wildebeest.

Simba been send in the air screaming, if he lands back in the stampede he would died. He felt a mouth of a Lion picking him and running around. Taka had just save Simba but it wasn't all that good.

He got struck on the cheek by another wildebeest and it cause him to drop the cub. Simba hit the ground with dust in his eyes, he dodge all the wildebeest that could crush him. He hope that his father heard about what going on or Scar saw the Stampede and ran in the stampede

He saw a black form with green eyes, running along with the gorge and picking him up. Taka jump to the ledge and place Simba on it.

Simba was saved for good but Taka been pull back to the gorge. "Scar!" He heard the cub calling for him.

Simba look at the stampede hoping his Uncle his savior come out. Suddenly a black mane Lion with Green eyes lept out the gorge. Taka jump from the gorge and cling on the cliff. Simba grin when he notice his Uncle form.

Taka begin to slide down but manage to cling on and he climb higher as did Simba who jump on the rocks, his thoughts were not on Simba, himself, only one Lioness Sarafina, Nala and Mheetu. He has to survive so he can teach his son and show him who his father really is and be there for him. Let Nala have a father who support her through everything. He climb higher and higher until he reach the point he couldn't climb.

He try to move his paws up to get on the cliff but couldn't. He saw a familiar Lion. "Mufasa!"

"Scar, I got you."

Mufasa grab Taka paws and pull him up with all his strength and finally Simba came all the way up.

Simba climb up to the point where Mufasa and Taka was. "Simba!" Mufasa ran and nuzzle his son. "What in the King past was you doing down there?!"

"Uncle Scar told me you got a present."

They both shot looks at Taka who sigh, "Time to tell the truth. I try to killed you both for the throne."

"What?!" Simba ask with tearfill eyes.

"Brother how could you?!" Mufasa eyes water up which shock Taka he never saw him like this.

"I know! I know! I'm sorry! I regret it now and would never try to hurt you both again! For mom! For Sarafina! For Nala!"

Simba thought about her while Taka continue, "For my son."

"Son?!" Mufasa ask.

"Yes Mheetu. I realize he need me and Simba would need you."

"Scar..."

"Taka!" Taka roared which surprise Mufasa. "My name is Taka now and forever."

"Taka. Even if you try to kill me you still save my son. Thank you and by doing this I see you are now a good Lion." Mufasa hug his brother, Simba would join in but he was too shock.

Taka walk over to Simba and bend his head to him. "I'm so sorry Simba, you may never want to speak to me or be near me again but I change. I hope you forgive me."

Simba unexpectedly threw himself at Taka and they got into a hug. "I forgive you for everything Uncle Taka!"

"Brother you will be King beside me, I see you are very wise and deserve it. Come let go home."

Years past. Mufasa has told the Pride about what Taka was going to do and they were mad at him but when they heard Taka saving Simba it made them all see that Taka wanted to be notice and now he is. Taka grown more stronger over the years and equal to his brother strength. After the stampede Taka went to the Elephant graveyard with Mufasa and the Pride and started a fullfledge war against the Hyenas, it took a few years and the war was violent but the Pride won and many Lions died but most of the Pride survive. Then Taka got married to Sarafina and had two another cubs with her Nuka and Vitani. Simba and Nala got married and had three beautiful cubs. Kopa, Kiara, Kion who all going to take the throne as siblings ruling together.

Nuka were playing in the hills laughing.

Kopa and Vitani was playing with each other the pin game. Kiara and Kovu who was abandon by his mother call Zira but save by Taka and let him stay in the Pride but they were chasing each other, Kion and Zuri was just talking. Mheetu met a Lion call Nadra and they had cubs too.

Taka and Mufasa watch Kopa, Kiara and Kion from the distance with Sarabi and Sarafina behind him. They all let smiles cross there face. Taka and Mufasa look at the sky to see the figure of there mother smiling down at them. Life has change forever and for the better.
