Another Kipper rewrite, this time it's the episode "Tiger's Torch. Enjoy and comment.
One day, Tiger was busy playing with his new flashlight. He was very excited, because he wanted to show Kipper the Dog how it worked.
Meanwhile, Kipper the Dog was watching television when the doorbell rang. He went to answer it, and Tiger beamed the light onto Kipper's face.
"What do you think Kipper?" he asked.
"It's really interesting."
"Maybe when it gets dark, I'll go out and use it some more. Would you like to come Kipper?"
"Sure Tiger. While we wait for it to get dark, shall we read a story?"
"Okay then."
So Kipper began his story.
"Deep in the middle of the dark, dark, woods, there lived a terrible..."
"That's it!" exclaimed Tiger. "We'll go camping in the woods!"
That night, Kipper and Tiger went to the woods to set up camp.
Tiger however, was nervous.
"I'm not sure this was a good idea."
"Why's that?" asked Kipper.
"Because it's getting really dark out here. But since I have my flashlight, everything should be okay."
"Why don't you come in for some cookies and milk?"
So Tiger went into the tent, and had some cookies and milk.
But he was still nervous.
"Do you want a stuffed rabbit or owl to sleep with tonight?" asked Kipper.
"I don't know. But are there any bears in the woods?"
"I don't think so." replied Tiger.
"Are there any bats?"
"Oh yes, there's bound to be bats. But they are okay, they won't hurt you. How about a story?"
"Okay."
"Deep in the middle of the dark, dark, woods, there lived a terrible..."
"I'm going to look outside for a second."
But he didn't. He closed the tent up.
Just then, they heard a strange noise, which scared them both.
Tiger was terrified the most. He went under the blanket.
"Let me go outside and look." whispered Kipper.
Kipper used Tiger's flashlight to see what was making the noise. He couldn't find out what was making the noise.
Tiger, still nervous, decided to join Kipper.
They soon found out that the noise was a owl's hoot. The owl hooted again and Tiger and Kipper screamed and went back into the tent, dropping the flashlight in the process.
"I think it was just a silly owl."
Just then, a shadow scared Tiger.
"Don't let it get me!" whimpered Tiger.
Kipper went back outside, and discovered that a snail was causing the shadow to appear. He brought the snail to show Tiger, who was still frightened.
"I found what was making that shadow. It was a snail!"
Tiger laughed. He wasn't afraid anymore!
