On the inside, one Karisawa Erika was in a state of awe and amazement. It was definitely not every day that you go to meet your best friend at a bar, only to bump into one of the world's hottest current singers. And while adoring Hijiribe Ruri has always been Togusa's thing, Erika has held a secret admiration for the teenage singer, too.
But now, as she sat next to the pop idol, she could only giggle drunkenly and cling to her barstool, thinking about how much Togusa would kill to be in her position, sober or not.
The equally drunken Ruri coughed slightly into her palm before swigging back another shot. She sighed loudly and spun around in her chair to face to amused Erika with a small, intoxicated pink dusting her cheeks. "Do you think there's a God?" She asked with a slur. "I think there is. I mean, why would I be where I am today without God helping me?" She said, no doubt rhetorically and smiled wryly.
Erika smiled largely and nodded. "There are heaps of Gods. Most supernatural manga have a God or two... or Gods of death!" She giggled and tossed her head back, her black cap falling off her head and to the ground. Looking down absently, she told herself she'd pick it up when the drop to the ground wasn't so bad...
"My fans think I'm a God, you know." Ruri stated haughtily, abruptly. "My music is like religion to them! They jump and cheer from the front row when I'm up on stage. It's not God up there, that's just me." The smug smirk from Ruri's face didn't leave as she chucked back another shot.
Erika decided to ignore the idol's comment and continued to nurse her fruity green drink of some kind. She looked around slightly for signs of Walker, really the only reason she was here in the first place. If she wasn't on her fourth of said green fruity drink, she probably would have been more worried at his absence.
"Imagine if life was an anime." Erika sighed contently and leant back in her stool, resting against the bar, looking out into the crowd of people in the bar. Ruri looked over at her companion inquisitively. "You wouldn't have to worry about going crazy from pressure or responsibility because there would always be some awesome big sister character to bring you back to Earth. Or a lover to shout some inspiring speech of love into the air during a thunder storm..." She whispered before breaking out into a smile.
Ruri scrunched up her pretty made up face as Erika giggled and jumped from the very high bar stool to the ground. She bent over and picked up her black hat before turning to Ruri with a wide smile, "it was good meeting you, Hijiribe-san." She waved before sprinting off into the crowd towards a dirty blond head.
Hijiribe Ruri smiled drunkenly and ordered another round of drinks. "Like an anime, huh?"
This is pointless, I know. And I have absolutely no idea what Ruri's personality is like, so I'll go with the tragic alcoholic popstar who has had an especially bad day. But yeah, she's drunk anyway so like it matters.
