I hope you won't find this misleading,
but your touch makes me feel like a leper
II.
You have the eyes of an animal;
a raccoon well versed in the effects of narcotic substances
III.
I wander the streets sucking peppermints
you're not around the corner, such a disappointment
IV.
You didn't hear the stray dog howling,
neither did I, I was distracted
V.
I didn't know how to say it,
so I told the bathroom wall in ballpoint pen
