A songfic, one-shot about ContestShipping. I was in the middle of writing "So Close, So Far" when I had a sudden urge to write this. It was "White Horse" came on. I was gonna do it with that, but that seemed Anti, so I looked at my other songs, and found another Taylor Swift song! It was perfect, especially if I made Dawn his girlfriend! I doubt Dawn would like country, and I think May and Drew would to be honest, and Dawn is a girly cheerleader! So I listened to it, pausing it every five seconds. I based everything in her on the song. I suggest listening to the song. Damn, Taylor Swift songs fit ContestShipping perfect! Song is "You Belong With Me" -- Taylor Swift.

Disclaimer: If I owned Pokemon, I would take every character out except May and Drew(therefor, killing AdvanceShipping, which needs to die, no offense to fans), and name it something like "ContestShipping Stories", but sadly, I'm only left to dream~

May watched Drew in the coordinator locker room, yelling into his phone at his girlfriend, Dawn. She was upset about something that he had said to her. It must've been that joke he told May earlier. Guess Dawn took it offensively.

She went home and plopped on her bed on this Tuesday night like any other. She was listening to country, music Drew liked, but not Dawn. While sitting there, she remembered all the good times she had with Drew. How they were always there for each other.

Dawn and May were very different. Dawn always wore short skirts, and May wore t-shirts. Dawn was a cheerleader and May was on the bleechers, daydreaming about when Drew would finally realize that May was the one. She wanted him to see that she was the one who understood him, was always there, and wondering why he couldn't see that he belonged with her.

Drew and May walked down the streets, his jeans all torn up from falling down trees and cliffs. May thought it was how the world outta be. She sat on a bench in the park while he practiced for the next contest. She laughed to herself thinking about how easy it was to be herself with him.

He smiled at her, and it blinded her with how beautiful it was. It was the first time he smiled like that. He hadn't since he'd got together with Dawn. May wanted to know why he was with a girl like that, and not his type of girl; her.

May remembered how Dawn wore high heels to contests. She looked down to her shoes; always sneakers. A picture of Dawn cheering flashed through her mind. May was still sitting in the sidelines watching, thinking of how Drew needed to see she was the right one all along.

If he could only see that she was the one who understood him, was there for him through thick and thin, and was the one he belonged with. She remembered the time she stood waiting for him at his back door. How could he be so oblivious to her feelings that whole time? How could he be oblivious to the fact that they belonged together.

Thinking of all this reminded her of the time he drove to her house at midnight, and she had comfoted him after him and Dawn's fight. She made him laugh even though he was about to cry. She knew every song that had ever been his number one. Drew always told May her dreams. She started thinking about how he was starting to realize that he knew his place was with her.

Drew, it's time to realize May was the one who understands you, was there all along, and wants to know why you can't see that you belong with her. She stood at his back door, still thinking of how he couldn't know that they belonged together. Drew belonged with May, and that was there was to it. May wondered of Drew ever thought just maybe they belonged together.
