here's a story I thought of. hope you like it.

Artemis Lian Crock, AKA Tigress, sighed as she looked at the photo on her phone. It was of her boyfriend, Wally West, AKA the original Kid Flash. It's been a whole year since he sacrificed himself to stop the Reach's plans, and she missed him dearly. They managed to stop Lex Luthor's plans to sell the Reach's drink under a new name, and put Luthor in prison. She was at home, wondering what to do now. Her thoughts were interrupted when a portal opened in front of her. Before she could ready herself, something slammed into her hard and fast, knocking her on her butt. When she opened her eyes, she received a shock. In front of her was none other than…

"Wally!" she said, hugging him. Strange thing was he wasn't hugging back. When she pulled back, he had a confused look on his face. "Is something wrong?"

"Yeah, who are you?" he asked, making her eyes go wide, but not as wide as what he said next. "More importantly, who am I?"

-Later, on the Watchtower-

"DNA scans confirm it," Batgirl said. "It is indeed Wally."

"Then why didn't he remember me?" Artemis asked sadly.

"Well, from what I can tell, he's suffered from amnesia. Though I still don't understand how this could have happened. I mean you saw him disappear."

"Disappear, yes, but what if he didn't die?" Blue Beetle said.

"Yes, of course," Bart Allen, AKA the new Kid Flash, said. "When stopped the Reach's MFDs, he must've ran so fast, he jumped a year into the future."

"That would explain why he looks exactly the same as he did when we last saw him," Conner Kent, AKA Superboy, said.

"M'gann, do you think you can restore his memory, like you did when Superboy found out about you being a white Martian?" Kaldur'ahm, AKA Aqualad, asked.

"I don't know," M'gann, AKA Miss Martian, said. "It was one thing to restore our memories from six months prior. I've never tried it with someone who has amnesia before."

"You've restored Aqualad's mind before," Wonder Girl said.

"Yes, but I was being threatened, plus I had a feeling of guilt. It might be best to wait until my Uncle J'onn returns."

"So, what do we do until then?" Static asked.

"Well, I'll contact Robin, and tell him about this," Tim said.

"And I'll take Wally back to Earth to try and restore his memory," Artemis said.

The blond took Wally's hand, and led him through the gate, hoping to restore his memory. Little did they know, but there was more to Wally than any of them realized.
