Apology Accepted

Eric was sitting in Calleigh's kitchen after their shift was over. Eric could tell that something was bothering Calleigh. Truth was something was bothering him as well. Ryan's behavior had been off today and he didn't know why until Horatio had pulled him and Calleigh aside. He felt bad for acting the way he had with him earlier, especially after Horatio had told them about the extenuating circumstances that Ryan had faced that day.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Eric asked Calleigh as she washed the last of the dishes.

Calleigh let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding in.

"I just….I just can't believe what happened today. What Ryan did…" she said.

"He had no choice Cal." He told her.

"He could have said something to me." Calleigh said.

Eric knew that Ryan and Calleigh were close. They were a hell of a lot closer than he and Ryan were. It killed him to know that Ryan betrayed that trust yet again.

Eric pulled Calleigh into a tight embrace. "I know baby, he was just afraid." Eric said as he stroked her hair.

"Have you talked to him?" She asked him.

"No, I was going to talk to him tomorrow before our shift." He told her.

"I think we should talk to him tonight."

Eric took one look at his girlfriend's face. He could tell that she had a long day and she was tired. He smiled at her because no matter how tired she looked, she was still absolutely gorgeous.

"Listen, you look exhausted. Why don't you get ready for bed and I will go and talk to Wolfe." Eric told her.

"Well yeah, I guess you were a little hard on him." Calleigh laughed.

"I'll be back in an hour." Eric kissed Calleigh and walked out the door.

Eric pulled up to Ryan's about 10 minutes after he left Calleigh's. He could see the light on in the living room. Eric knocked on the door and waited for Ryan to answer.

Ryan wasn't expecting anyone. He was surprised to see Eric outside holding a six pack of Miller Lite.

"Delko, what are you doing here?" Ryan still seemed a little mad about how he treated him earlier.

"A peace offering." Eric said as he held the six pack up for him to see.

"Come on in." Ryan told him.

Eric walked into Ryan's living room. He sat down the beer on the counter and grabbed two of them.

"Whatcha watching?" Eric asked.

"Louisville vs. Michigan St game." He replied.

"Who's your pick?" Eric asked him.

"Louisville." Ryan said.

"You know they are going down right?" Eric said.

"Sure whatever you say." Ryan said.

They sat down on the couch watching the first half.

"About today, Ryan, I'm sorry for the way I acted. I didn't know." Eric said.

"So did Calleigh make you come and apologize to me, or did you think of this on your own?" Ryan said.

Eric raised an eyebrow at him. "What does Calleigh have to do with this?"

"C'mon man I'm not stupid, you wore that yesterday." Ryan told him.

"Not a word Wolfe." Eric chuckled as he took a sip of his beer.

"Don't worry about it, your secret is safe with me." Ryan said.

"Apology accepted." Ryan told him.
