This is pretty much just a short story that popped into my head on my way home from school today. It's kind of odd, I understand that, and well random. But please review, and if you're interested in more I would love to know!
We stood a foot apart from each other, staring intently at one another. Her beautiful brown eyes shown with fear and desperation, her brown hair was dripping from the rain. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
Gently, I took her hand in mine. "Bella…" my voice wasn't above a whisper, "I love you."
Her smile lasted for a fraction of a second, and then she pulled her hands from mine and stared at the ground. "You shouldn't love me, Edward." She pulled her hair back into a hair tie and began to unbutton her shirt.
My eyes widened, "Bella, what in the world are you doing?"
Her silky blue shirt slipped past her shoulders and fell to the wet pavement. "You shouldn't love me." Bella repeated in the same dull tone.
It was then that I noticed she wore no under-clothing; her breasts were bare against the pouring rain. My eyes scanned over her body, my eyes stopping on her left breast: where a two-inch scar laid…over her heart. I continued to search her body, which was completely covered in bruises: some new, some old.
Carefully and slowly, I leaned down and pressed my lips to her scar. "I love you, Bella."
Tears flowed noiselessly down her cheeks, her arms locked around my neck. "I love you, too, Edward…"
