3/3/09 edited a spelling mistake...
This came to me in a split moment of brilliance, or not so brilliance, depending on your opinion. But I'm kinda nervous to post it 'cause it's my first ever attempt at poetry.
It's from Naruto to Iruka.

Because you said I was a monster,
A demon deep inside.
Because you said that I should go away,
Just disappear and die.
Because I used to think,
Would they miss me if I went?
Because no one ever realised,
The life that I had lent.
Because no one ever thought
Let us be his friend.
Because the shunning of a little child,
Became such a popular trend.
Because no one ever tucked me
In my bed at night,
Because they thought it was great fun,
To give me such a fright.
It wasn't my fault,
Why can't you all see?
It wasn't my fault,
In all honesty.
It wasn't my fault.
The true hero is me.
Because when all seemed lost
And no one was there.
Because you came at that time,
To show that you care.
Because more often than not
When I felt so sad.
Because you came with comfort,
And things weren't so bad.
Because when nobody else,
Cared enough to see.
Because I know that you did.
And I know you saw me.
Because you took me out for ramen,
And paid for my feast.
Because you saw me as Naruto,
And not as the beast.
You held me close,
And you said those words three.
I don't think I've ever,
Felt so happy.
So I needed to find,
A way to tell you.
Just to let you see,
That I love you, too.
