His Daughter

Death, a sure fate that no one can break. This may be the only law we can never stray from; its a certainty that everything that lives must repay its debit to the laws of death.

A gravestone stands alone, marked with only one name and two village symbols. "Uchiha Sasuke (KIA)" were the only words written. No title or saying just his name, near the bottom corners of the stone was a symbol for Konoha and another for Suna. Why were these two symbols together on a Leaf Nin's grave?

It might have something to do with the woman standing over his grave in tears, and the blond man beside her claming her racing heart. That day no one saw the real reason for the two symbols, yet she was there. Hidden behind an old oak tree she was there. Hands wrapped gently around her protruding stomach where the next chain reaction was taking place.

They say each death is another's birth, one ending is another beginning, is that true? We may never know but to this young woman it was true and will always be the fact she lives with everyday.

As moments passed the clouds broke away from the fog that had been sealing the crying and painful screams of the others at the ceremony. There, standing at his grave were the only two people Sasuke trusted with his life, infact is was these two who sealed the fate of Sasuke's death.

There standing behind a large old oak the woman gently rubbed her stomach back and fourth trying to clam the baby inside of its fear. She had been traveling all day and half the night just to make it to another village where she wasn't even welcome by the fellow ninja. So why was a Suna ninja there? At the Konoha's graveyard? These were the very questions that Sakura and Naruto wanted to know when they saw her emerge from her hidden place. Turning their heads, they glared at the advancing woman.

"What do you want here? Your not welcome here anymore!"screamed Sakura, she was extremely overly emotional at the moment, death tends to have this effect on the weaker human.

"You were told of your banishment the minute you brought Sasuke back to this village, as I said before. I'm happy you brought him back and yes I consider you a friend but this village doesn't and as this village's Hokage I have no right keeping you sheltered here when my people don't want you present." That was perhaps the longest speech Naruto could have made. For it seemed that neither ninja were in their right mind.

There was no reply from the woman, seconds passed and Sakura was getting more tense.

"We don't want you here! Leave! Now!" Sakura's outburst almost woke the whole village then Temari really wouldn't have been welcome. Turning quickly on her heel, careful not to fall over she left towards the gates. Tears outlining dark green eyes as she started her journey home. She wasn't in the mood for fighting. "Sasuke-Kun, your village doesn't want me. Nor do your friends. Have I lost everything I had that connected me to you?" were the last words Naruto and Sakura heard of the rouge ninja. Uchiha Temari.
