Author's Notes: Okay this takes place during chapter 185 and furthering the conversation between Kurogane and Fai. Plus a little during that time with Mokona and Syaoran.

"... What's the reason behind putting the kid in a separate room, unlike

yesterday?"

"I thought you'd notice."

"....."

"And that if noticed, you know why, but is it correct?
After my body became like this, I seem to be sensitive to the scent of blood. Besides, whatever you say, for you not take off your cloak or headdress... It's strange isn't it? Would that be in order to conceal your facial expression? You're in pain."

"....."

"So the artificial arm doesn't fit?"

"If it works, there's no problem."

".... Does it hurt more than yesterday?"

"........."

"Answer me. With this we'll find out whether our time is going forward in the repeating time of Clow Country."

".... Yes."

Fai punches Kurogane.

"If it hurts then say something from the start! Idiot."

"Bastard!"

"When your with others, there are more things you can't hide. If they find out later it 'll be more painful for Syaoran-kun and Mokona."

"You're the one to talk."

Fai manages a smile.

"I'm the one to talk."

"Really. Why did you get a separate room for the kid?"

"....."

"Feh. Look who's being quiet now. You're being so hypocritical it's not-" Kurogane noticed something trying to look at Fai in the eye. "Hey..." Fai's head hung low.
Not looking at him face to face.

"Hey! Are you crying?"

"Huh?" Fai looked up and touched underneath his eye lid. "Oh, I guess I am." he
laughed lightly, "Silly me. I sure am stupid sometimes aren't I?"

"Why are you crying?" Fai felt nervous worried of what he might think but decided to shrug it off.

"I'm scared." he admitted.

"Scared of what?"

"Of us."

"....."

"I'm scared that after this whole thing with Fei Wang Reed... We'll... We'll... Go our seperate ways and... And..." He bursted into tears again and ran into Kurogane's chest.

"Never see each other again?" Kurogane finished Fai's sentence and all Fai could do was nod. He looked up at him with tears that seemed they would never end. Finally to comfort him Kurogane managed a sigh and placed a hand on Fai's cheek.

"Kuro-sama?"

"Listen, no matter what happens, I'm always going to be by your side and no one's ever going to change that. I made a promise a long time ago to protect what I wanted to protect and those are people I care about. You are one of those."

Fai sniffed. "You mean it?" Kurogane nodded. Fai felt slightly relieved but still felt a little bit worried and snuggled his face into his chest again.

"I know you're a man of his word..." Fai muttered pushing himself away.

"What?"

"I said… Huh… Why do I feel so sleepy?" Fai said yawning a bit.

"What are you talking about-" Kurogane said yawning as well.

"What-What's happening…?" Out of the corner of Fai's eye, he saw him walk towards the bed and laid on his back.

"I suddenly feel really tired…" He spoke and drifted to sleep.

"Idiot… I wanted the bed…" Fai said jokingly with a smile on his face. "It can't be helped." he

wandered aimlessly to the bed. He tried to push him a little for extra room but was too tired to

entirely push him so he laid my head on Kurogane's chest and slowly fell asleep.
