Chapter 1: Breakups
RPOV
I was in the gym practicing with Dimitri just like every day before this. He seemed out of it today though, like he was thinking about something really hard. I stopped what I was doing and asked, "Hey Comrade, what's the matter? You seem out of it today."
He looked at me with an emotion I would have never thought to come from him, well towards me anyways, and that emotion was…. HATE. "Look Rose, I don't feel love towards you anymore, I have decided to take up Tasha's offer. I'm sorry."
"Whatever, I guess there will be no more practices for me anymore huh?"
"No. you're already better than your peers, so you don't need it anymore." I looked at him, walked over to my stuff and nodded at him. As I walked over to my dorm I ran into something, or rather someone, who, smelt faintly of smoke and liquor.
"Hey little dhampire." I looked up and then fainted.
