Ch. 1 Mysterious Day
The voice of thunder was closing in. The girl stood mesmerized at the river's edge. The sky was gray and the grass was black. Lightning struck the ground behind the girl. A flash of light and the girl was gone.
9 Years Later
"No one knew what happened to the girl that night." Selena said to the class.
"Very nice Selena." Mr. Davidson replied.
"Thank you Mr. Davidson." Selena replied.
"All right. Now let's hear from Sam." Mr. Davidson said.
"I don't have anything." Sam replied.
"Your not going to get very far if you keep forgetting your homework." Mr. Davidson replied.
Ding, Ding, Ding
The last bell had rung and everybody was heading home for some good old relaxation. It was the weekend and everyone was planning what to do.
The sun was shining and the sky was clear, the grass green as a clover's leaf, a little breezy, and the slightest scent of lavender filled the air. Selena walked to her car, a Torch Red Thunderbird Ford, when the sky turned gray and the grass black as a raven. The thunder rolled and the lightning struck. Selena started to remember something of her forgotten past. She almost fainted at the sight of the memory when…
"Hey Selena!" Kody, her best friend, yelled. Selena opened her eyes and found the sky to be blue instead of gray.
"Oh hey Kody." Selena replied.
"Are you ok?" Kody asked.
"I'm fine. Why?" Selena replied.
"You almost fainted that's why." Kody said.
"Hey did the sky turn gray by any chance?" Selena asked.
"No. Why?" Kody asked.
"Oh nothing really." Selena replied.
"Well I'll see ya later then. Bye." Kody said walking away.
"Bye." Selena replied.
I got in my car and pulled out of the school parking lot and headed straight for home. I kept thinking to myself about what I saw. Oh sorry I forgot about you being there. I am Selena and this is my story of how I got my powers. It's a long story so set back and relax. Anyways I wondered why I was the only one that the saw the sky turn gray and why I saw it happen. I knew something weird was about to happen but I didn't know what and when it would happen. I pulled in my driveway and all my stuff was waiting for me in the front yard. I was moving into a house a block away from school. I hated moving, it was very hectic for me but I needed to because my last house was too far from the school so I'm moving into this house today. I'm not to worried though because there is this really cute guy or guys next door, maybe I can see if they will help me get moved in.
