"I'm gay."

Roxas blinked at the webcam on his computer screen. "Ok. . ." This had quickly turned into the strangest conversation he had ever had with his best friend. As he watched Sora fidget and avoid looking at the screen, he could tell the other boy had been building up the courage to admit this for along time. "What's your point?"

Sora blinked, finally looking at the screen again. He just stared, trying to guage Roxas' reaction. "You're not, like, totally weirded out?" he asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

Roxas snorted "Dude, you broke up with Kairi."

Sora flushed "What's that got to do with anything?"

"You broke up with her and left her here so you could hurry up and follow Riku to college. So, He's finally asked you out?"

Sora's blush darkened and he chewed his lip. "Actually, we've kinda been dating for a couple months now, really."

Roxas raised an eyebrow "So, what, am I the last to know or something?"

"No, no one else knows except Kairi. I kinda felt like I owed it to her."

"So when are you coming out to everyone else?" he asked, taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"I don't know. . . it feels so awkward. . ."

"I could do it for you if you want."

"How?" Sora asked, looking at him suspiciously.

"I'll just start telling people that you and Riku finally hooked up. I guarantee most everyone will be saying 'It's about time.'"

Sora blushed again and pouted "How could it have been so obvious? I didn't even know till recently."

"Maybe, but Riku's had a thing for you since we were 12, you dork."

Sora blinked "Really?"

"You're an idiot."

Sora pouted. "So how are you and Namine doing?"

But Roxas didn't hear him, since his dormmate, Axel had just walked out of the bathroom wearing nothing but a towel. His eyes followed the older man across the room until he disappeared into the bedroom.

"Roxas!"

Roxas blinked and looked back to the computer screen. "Huh? What?"

"I said, 'how are you and Namine doing?" Sora asked with frown.

"Oh. . . we're doing, I guess." he said, moving a hand to his neck to make sure Sora couldn't see the hickey there. "Long distant things Kinda suck, and it's not like we had anything really passionate anyway."

"Yeah, but you still care about her, right? That's enough to make it work."

"Mm."

"Hey, Sorry Rox, but I need to run. I'm supposed to meet Riku soon." Sora said, gathering up papers and things around his computer.

"Alright, Good night,"

"Night!" Sora's webcam blinked off and Roxas closed his laptop with a sigh.

Axel slipped his arms around his shoulders and started on another hickey. "So when are you going to tell him I've converted you to the dark side?"

Roxas shrugged. "Like he said, it's awkward."
